I've been interested in setting up a WH POS for a while now, without enuff details and info on the 'Why and How?'

I wanna share some thoughts tho:
In a WH u don't see local, so a cov ops cloaked enemy can surprise you before u have the time to Directional scan anything, how to prevent that ?
To comment on your idea:
Bringing with you an entire armada is a very nice tactical adventage(not neccessary tho, but helluva useful), for example if u have 5BSs which u smuggled in from 3diff. WH entrys to your POS is excellent if the enemy can only jump 2BSs through and WH collapses.
When we talk about big Investments it's nice to put up a few ships and setups for each member that participates in such OP and be ready to loose all in order to defend POS.
Another tip for C-4 or greater ?
I think that people should have topped out their Role skills as they enter such dangerous environment. We all know that dps and tanking skills should be near Maxed-out when we talk about PVP or Sleepers engagements as basics. Than there are logistics, support and other stuff that comes optional.
Even a pr0 player with tech 1 stuff can cause you more damage than aid in a rough situation imo.
Personaly I wanna share some from lowsec life, I survived by always thinking neggative such as a precaution:
- I can pop if i'm not aligned
- I can pop if I won't use scanner periodicaly
- I can pop if i'm not checking local frequently
And so on, we all know the deal, just that in a WH things are even more hostile and being prepared for anything can save lives !
As a parting gift here's a catch:
Blockade runners, for 'us' fast ppl we know that when you jump a gate to the other side, you gain a general cloak for a few seconds. So when you align and warp off, you can use your own Cov ops cloak before you decloak from a 'general gate ones' in a nanosecond.
Weeeehehehehheeeeellll now, I scanned down a sig. site in my Anathema Class-4.
I tried this:
I warped cloaked to 100km, aligned to something(moon or planet), decloaked and pressed warp !
All Sleepers targeted and poped me in about 0.5sec (talk about IMBA)
Still have nightmares from it.
