The linked one was dead so...
I once read about this fail-pirate fella who got reverse-pirated by an iteron in Jita. Story was full of lulz... anybody got a story like that to share?

The chat logs were well within the established rules. The CEO just got tired and started flaming to get the thread closed to keep the world from knowing how fail of an operation he runs. Yeah, the nerve of the FNG mod locking the thread which didn't even contain infractions for the rule he cited. I petitioned him :)
CEO's alliance isn't doing so well, I got a chat today from a member of one of their sub-corp members:

Thanks guys for starting the new pirate stories thread so it can get linked and stickied.
I'm posting from my phone at the moment. So I'll be brief.
A) Please don't get yourselves banned for discussing moderation. There's many better ways to do that.
B) I have formulated a much better set of surrender options. They will be posted in a new thread for war happenings.
C) A question for the 0.0 dwellers of the area. The alliance executorship mentioned having issues in nullsec. How can we help?

I heard a rumour that an alliance in a very similar situation to the one described in the OP is haemorrhaging corps and players all over the place. In fact, it seems that at least 1/3 of the pilots involved that have been seen in the main conflict area are no longer part of the alliance in question, and at least two new corps and a new alliance have been set up by people who just left. Or so I heard.
But that's OK since I'm sure I recall one of the CEOs involved saying in a vaguely similar thread that they were "owning [someone's] corp and all of his buddies.". And I'm sure they wouldn't lie to us about that.
Edit: Hmm, that's really not the character I was expecting to post with. This board just doesn't like me.

I recently (like as in SINCE I cut the end of my finger off) lost an Arazu to a gatecamp because I aligned to a planet and forgot to press warp.. Wondered off gate.. Made it about 12km before anyone noticed (although they will say they were waiting for me to get far enough away so they could pop me), started getting shot at and pointed, panicked and turned around with my MWD on.. Made it BACK to the gate as fighters started to pound on me, HAMMERED the jump button so much, got the jumping dialog, popped, pod jumped.
Now I know that I jumped before I popped because there was no session timer on the pod jumping.. Waiting for petition.. I'm going to assume I don't get the ship replaced (does it ever actually happen?) but if I do then I officially jumped in low low structure.
So yeah.. Lost my T2 fitted Arazu because I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. (I have a carrier on my loss mail though, so at least it looks like I have a good excuse) |

I felt like killing a guy, because he was spamming local with annoying boasts about his fittings. I scanned his ship, turned out he was a liar, so I didn't even have to :effort: to blow him up. Managed to get his pod as well, never saw him in local again.

My fav is I was doing a complex in lowsec with my armageddon. Well, I was almost done the complex which was very tough when I see combat probes show up on directional scanner. I am pushing to finish, as I want my loot. Well, I took too long. To make a long story short, he got on me and tackled....
To which I promptly sent my stuff out, and had him popped in seconds before his bs buddies could even get near. XD
I am known for strange fittings though amongst my friends. Well, this setup had the dual pulses, webber drones, tracking comp, combined with burst aerator rigs and metastasis adjuster for the specific purpose of hitting close fast targets.
I don't pvp much, so not much of a story, but I am pretty sure the frigate guy was rather confused. |

This one day, in a lowsec system...
I was plexing in a nighthawk (bored, waiting for targets) when a TYPHOON decided to engage me. We traded shots, I was plex fit, then I ran away to refit in station. TYPHOON pilot departed system but what the hell, he'll come back. So he came back, but I'd forgotten to change a part of my fit (didn't put the damn warp disruptor on!) so like a wimp I ran away again. I was still trying to come up with some possible way I could kill a TYPHOON with a nighthawk but as I said, bored, was going to try anyway. After I refit and warped direct back to plex, I see the TYPHOON warp away and the pilot is no longer in local. Huh?
Yes, he's logged his battleship out with aggro, against a pirate who is running a complex (prober nearby ya think maybe?), likely as part of some lame logon trap. Not to be detered, the TYPHOON was probed out and killed. As was his pod shortly thereafter, but he got back into system, to spring the logon trap, just in time for my final volley of missiles to hit his little scrambled egg.
That was funny stuff. |

Well I probably get flamed for this... helped a dude take out a WT, some other corp who was at war with the same corp as we were. Anyways, after so much scouting etc etc, no more WT's showed, so eventually, me and a Corp Mate wanted to go Low Sec for some Pew Pew, out of boredom, we asked the dude we helped earlier to tag along. He does, in a Myrmidom :)
We arrived in 0.4, and corp mate had already set a SS, and warped to there... Locked onto the Myrmidom and took him out.
We were bored and secondly trust no-one, no-one in EVE Space.

So, we are fighting a war, and we get a tip from a third party that some of our targets are missioning (wtf?) in Nightmares (OMG!?!?) So we peel out to their system when...oh my, they are not white stars on a red background.
We, being confused, check our wars...and yes, we 'can fight' against that corporation. So, we setup camp while we get a probe on them. When one of them shows up on gate with us.
We have a cunning plan..if the interceptor doesn't pop...we can all jump in on it..
Well, the interceptor pops to the gate guns.
What follows in local is classic 'You know..you really should not have said that'

Tonight, we have a cautionary tale. A tale of woe. A tale of a CEO who is sitting behind an almost completely deconstructed pos in lowsec.
His alliance mates bailed on him, corpmates bailed in droves, and finally either he left the alliance, or the alliance kicked him out.
And gentle readers, we all know why. But, for the actions of a single person. Who by simply choosing to keep quiet and accept a loss for what it was. Who by not acting in a threatening manner, would have just faded off into history.
Instead, they become a shining example of what not to do.
Now, the story is not completely over. The denouement will continue, most likely at a much slower pace as corporations lose members, and word of the story spreads through New Eden. Our friendly CEO seems to have plans for the future:
CEO > So if we rejoin the NC you comming up to Razor space to party?
...
CEO > May go down to CVA though really. Or maybe out west somewhere. dont know yet.
...
CEO > I always liked the Deep north as far as industry goes really
CEO > and the outer ring is nice too.
All of that in the space of...four minutes.
So, gentle readers. As you can see, someone may be planning to come near you in the future.
While during this tale.. A perfect storm seems to have been created. One that might never be seen again. Then again, it might be. And do you really want one of the main causes at your side should the storm kick up again?
That is for you to decide.

The thread is only as good as people posting in it. And seeing as it is the only place to post stories with chatlogs in it now, I have a feeling it will start to have life breathed back into it once everyone gets used to it again.
The old one had many good tales, and I'm sure the new one will do just fine.
And I'm sure the old practice of posting a link to the pirate story so that discussion may occur in a separate thread will return, so that the pirate stories thread will not get overloaded with non-stories and deleted posts as flames erupt. (Which of course, was the original intent of having the pirate stories thread in the first place if memory serves... Stories one place, discussion in another.)
The old eve adage of 'adapt or die' seems to apply to the forums as well as in game. Who'd a thunk it?
And speaking of such things. IEEE will be hopping on with Underworld Excavators in a few hours. When our ability to fight will magically reappear. Stories and happenings will be posted if they are of note or funny. And we'll try to keep y'all updated. As while one alliance has been more or less broken apart, the story has not yet ended.
Oh, and one further addenedum. We noticed someone new joining our friend CEO. A new miner. He's still *recruiting* it would look like.

Oedipus Complex should be able to fight CEO's not-quite-alliance-anymore tonight, as well as his corp (and a few others). Votes (and some petitions) are being thrown around left and right to chase down the splinters of this alliance and at this point, it seems to be a cleanup effort.
Not entirely sure what Solty and his crew are doing, but I think they're on the same track. Good guys to fly with and I only wish I would've been able to get into this sooner (thanks CCP for your wardec bugs not letting me declare war for like 2 days or something - great job!)

Remember the guy I said was recruited into CEO's corporation? He lost his retriever. In the system that us, as the enemies of CEO's corporation, have been using as a forward base of operations. (Well, okay, I've been using it really, but we'll call it 'our' base for purposes of discussion)
Several questions come to mind. Why move everything in a retriever? Did anyone warn the new guy that he was at war in corp? Did anyone tell this fresh miner that perhaps moving through would be difficult or should maybe wait until at the very least until the guys with the red background and white stars have left the system?
Is it just me, or are those lack of actions...irresponsible? Heck, maybe even reprehensible?
If I ever needed a fresh reason to continue to try and grind CEO's corporation into the ground, this is it.
The backstory for the IEEE is that we are a corporation who keep the tenants of good standards and practices with respect to most corporation operations. We have published (for free mind you) good mining standards and practices to try and educate folks out there. It is mostly common sense, but there are an awful lot of pilots there who could use a primer on how things should be done for the proper and good operation of a mining operation.
I don't think I've ever witnessed a failure to operate one's corporation, and to protect or at least educate one's newer members, greater than this. Its almost like CEO threw the pilot straight into our teeth.
And I think for the first time during the entire proceedings of this story, I am angry.

That might end up being an awful lot of cans... And while it sounds like a good idea. We here at the IEEE are also in favor of saving the environment of New Eden. Causing unnecessary demand for material goods in the form of secure containers is not a good idea from our standpoint. |

Well C&P...It would turn out that CEO and his corporation have attempted to join an alliance, and have been swiftly booted from said alliance. I received a personal conversation from CEO afterwards, you can read about it here.
In case you are too lazy to go check out the link the TL;DR of the conversation is along the lines of 'I'm going to join the NPC corporation in ten minutes and mine like there's no tomorrow and there's nothing you can do about it'
Too bad he forgot that he was the CEO of a corporation, and can't *quite* drop out that fast.
EDIT: Stay tuned. I'm sure something truly lol-worthy will happen any time now.

Its ThGuy! That's right folks. ThGuy and CEO are the same person. Which means, CEO is also running ThGuy's original one man corp trading in Jita. On top of running his own corp. And his 'sister' corp. It's a one man empire!
(Seriously, if you are aware of the corp ticker of CEO's corporation...do a name search for other corporations with the ticker at the beginning)
Watch this space for more updates as the the story continues to unfold.
(And here I thought things were going to just die out slowly.)

Just a short note here... The story of ThGuy, ThCEO, and all of its various branches, is pretty well over.
I now have in my possession, the corpse of ThCEO. Because of some extremely lol-worthy lack of corporation management skills, I was unable to personally pod ThCEO. But, watching him self-destruct his pod in front of Jita 4-4 was, satisfying enough. Scooping the corpse with the Iteron of Doom was also good.
And now, we wait for the final apology.
I'd like to thank Solty (Head of the Underworld Excavators), and Syringe (CEO of Oedipus Complex). Without whose help this may never have become the incredible story that it has been. Also, thanks goes out to a whole lot of random folks who have helped in various ways, whether it be by providing probing services, location services, general intelligence, isk, and good wishes. A lot of them don't wish to be identified, but you all know who you are.
And of course, thank you ThGuy and ThCEO. Without whom none of this would have been possible in the first place.
Its been a fun ride, and we await the last piece.

I don't know what Zed is doing, but I think OECO and Solty's alliance might be chasing a joint op. I'm not sure yet since I haven't been able to log in for a couple of days, but I'll contact you when I know what the heck is going on and see if you're still interested.
It looks like this part of the campaign is over, but there's a lot of splinters to chase down. Enough that I'm having some trouble keeping up with the wardecs. |

wow i actualy saw the self destruting of a pod in jita 4-4 but was to busy geting ready to pew pew so didnt take the name in but it must have been ThCEO i mean who else self destrcuts a pod XD |

If I was the ceo of one of his last couple of alliances I would be ****ed at this...but werent they in the convo earlier defending him and otherwise trying to help him?
