Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Oh wait...why does all the crazy stuff happen when I can't play Eve The biggest disappointment for me is having to move all my ships.
For real though, thanks to all the pirates and gallente who gave me something to do when I turn my computer on. It was fun.

The 22nd Black Rise Defensive Unit, will be putting away their State uniforms and moving on to 0.0, joining the alliance "Balance of Judgement" [SCALE], lead mainly by our former FW enemies The Dead Parrot Shoppe [FOOM].
Role playing forum post can be found here
Just to clarify, this is not a "FW suck nerd rage quit", our reasons for leaving are many. FW feeling dead/boring, lack of isk making, lack of respect from other militia corps, plus with all the systems captures it honestly leaves us with just one options which is to fleet up to loose endless battle ships for no viable reason while being lead by a foaming at the mouth FC who is more hell bent on increasing his chances to have a 100+ man fleet so as to feed the lag monster. Also failing to find any small gang pvp because the only thing left to fight is a Gal battle ships fleet, with no viable reason to be pvp'ing other than to pvp, that is being lead by a foaming at the mouth FC who is more hell bent on increasing his chances to have a 100+ man fleet so as to feed the lag monster. Ok, so maybe it is a FW sucks quit, but it's not nerd rage.
Our to put it shortly, we want to find a place where we can start making isk and get in fights that matter. Or as the Ultimate Gal pilot said

So yes, we're leaving while we're on top. Just like Michael Jordon should have done the second time around.
A couple of our top guys will however be staying in FW. Kruger81 & Logan Xerxes to name a few. A few more have gone on to form a new 22nd corp in the Amarr Militia.
I'm not writing this to blow our own horn, more so just to say goodbye in a forum where I know it will get read (looks like we'll be posting the CAOD now).
I'd also like to make the point that we teaming up with our former enemy mainly as we have tried our best to follow a policy that limited smack talk in local & on the forum. Hey we all brag, but at the end of the day we know the war wouldn't go on forever and keeping the name calling and hate down was the right way to go.
So guys it's been fun, I know we all have been holding out for changes in FW, but either way that chapter in our corp is over no matter how good any new rewards might be.
So now for the shout outs;
To my boys in the Pervs; You guys have ****ed us off more than most of our enemies could ever have hoped to, but your antics in space & on the forums was always good for a laugh. We will miss watching them, but maybe not flying near you.
The Cadre; Damar & V3nd3tt4 have been two of the most reliable militia members I know and a seriously dedicated plexers. Wish you guys the best of luck and take care of our boys who came your way.
More Cow Bell; Tanaka is one of the few MCB pilots I know, can't say I liked the blob warfare you & your brother end up doing so often, but as I always say "It's your $15" Thanks for keeping my guys in your fleet safe from our corp war decs as well as providing that blob for back up when we needed to flip a system or two or sixty.
Best of luck to all you Caldari guys, especially those who started their own corp.
To the Gals; Val Erian, Loren Gallen, & Chatgris, especially, you guys will be missed.
Much respect for our enemies in Quantum Cats, Azure Horizon, MicroFunks, along with former Gal FW corp now with the Minnys, Mitch Taylor and his Dark Rising guys.
Hopefully FW stay exciting for you guys for months to come. Try not to troll to much on this thread.
Sorry for the novel, but god bless you if you read it all.

He said they wanted to be able to carebear and make isk, so that's definitely the right group to go join. As far as pvp, well it's syndicate, you can always go make your own opportunities to pvp regardless of who you join.
However the bit that made me lol was "pvp that matters". If you're looking for that you chose the wrong region. |

As I said, we didn't leave FW in a fit of rage because it sucks, this was a move we had been talking about since December, but FW sucking helped make the choice easier.

To be honest were on the brink of leaving faction warfare in November. It wasnĘt until attracted some truly exceptional pilots to the 22nd at the end of November that we deceived to stay. Having accomplish something we never thought possible in October 2008 I think is time we moved on. A few words before I bid farewell to FW in the coming days:
To the true overlords of Verge Vendor [Invicta]: Good job keeping the region free of heavy fleets. Also for the many time you stomp the heavy Gallente fleets/Corps that would try to disturb our work in the region. It was odd symbiotic relationship we had. We attracted more targets and you would make them disappear. That didnĘt stop your corp. from hunting us from time to time. Maybe one day we can come back to the region and give a proper fight. : )
To BYDI: Not much to say but opening a major plex in your region was like setting sail for fail. Your response times for the quick gank would make any Gallente militia men jealous. One of my death mails even has loki in it, you guys donĘt mess around!
To Dark Rising: Shame you didnĘt stay in northern placid longer, there was some truly epic battle in the works if stayed in northern placid.
To Wolfy: To bad our paths never really crossed in FW. Maybe next time?
To the Qcats: Great flying against you maybe one day we can fly with you. : )
To More-Cowbell: I have a lot respect for your crazy FCs and the help you provided to us in FW.
To the rest of Caldari Militia: Thanks for all the fun times.

Dude I tell ya, if you aren't flying a stabbed up cloaked ibis, you are just wasting ISK (which you should be saving to buy CNR's with faction gear to run missions/rat in).
Thanks to the gals and pies for the fun fights. Thanks to everyone in militia for the great support.

If you want to:
Carebear. Participate in small gang PvP. Have meaningful fights.
You've picked the wrong region. And no, this is not an attempt at trolling. FFS FW will provide far more 'meaningful' fights than Syndicate ever will. |

Actually, despite popular belief. Syndicate sees a lot of small-medium gang warfare where a group ranges from 10 - 40 pilots per side. All of us here like it that way.
Most all of the true "blob" warfare happens between the sov holders rather than us here in NPC space. But of course, everyone sees 0.0 and thinks blob regardless of the reality. |

My current alliance lived in Syndicate for months. Before that, I lived in there with a small corp for roughly 5 months.
I hate gangs that have more than 5 people, and I usually prefer to solo, so you get the idea. At least for me, Syndicate was always a blob fest. I'm talking about having 4 T2 cruisers run from a Vagabond so they can assemble a gang of 12+ to fight back. Or a gang of 6 cruiser-sized ships afraid of engaging a Rupture.
Sov 0.0 usually does have more of the whole 'large fleet' thing, but due to the logistics issue, you can usually engage a gang of 5 alone and not worry about having them bring in more ships. The only NPC 0.0 region I found to be true to their claims of 'small gang warfare' was Curse, but my experience comes from before QR and therefore might not be the best source of information.
Also to clarify: I'm not trying to bash or defend 0.0 in any way or form. I'm just relaying my experience. I have moved back to low sec for a while now - and whatever I say about 0.0 is intended to be a somewhat neutral view of the whole issue. |

I can easily understand a group getting 12 ships to go after a vagabond. They have to catch it first and vagabonds are pretty damn good at getting away. |

They had a Curse and a Vagabond to begin with. Doesn't seem that hard to me. Heck all I wanted was a 1v1 against their Vagabond, but after over 20 mins trying to split them up they simply brought more ships. In the end, I popped all their frigs (IIRC 5 total, mostly inties) and left.
A few groups of people I've fought in Syndicate, like Clown Punchers (also previously in Curse), gave me decent fights, but most others tried to blob me - not like it ever worked. In that aspect and from my point of view, there are far better regions out there. Heck, I even prefer Venal.
