so the plan is to warp around 0.0 finding guys mining and ratting come in and ruin there day any ideas on how to do this the best wat possible?

Two possible fits I can see, stay at range, using 40km webs to prevent anything from getting close and using artillery. Or get in close with Autocannons, but that kinda negates the web range bonus.

Even a Stabber overheating his MWD won't catch you if he's dual webbed, so the AB should provide safety against MWDing ships. Any mining boat won't be able to get out all.
Damage isn't spectacular, but you should able to warp out if the target gets any help.

How is he going to keep the ships from warping away if he has 40km webs and only 24 km point?
Anyway you put it your going to have to be within 24km unless you use a faction point

Slowboating because of two webs at 34-40km gives the Rapier pilot plenty of time to think. Faction point is optional, but quite helpful. ------------------------ Low-sec is like sailing along the coast of Somalia...

Edited by: Lilith Velkor on 13/06/2009 20:07:12 For solo I'd consider bringing a combat probe launcher, so you can actually find the soft targets, plus dropping one arty isnt gonna impact your already terrible dps much.
If its not the probes, I'd switch to ACs to get actually some dps on there and a better target selection (remember to choose fights properly).
For 0.0 you really should consider MWD over the AB, it makes it much easier to get out of organized camps.
Also I'd switch the aux. thruster rigs for something that makes sense, either shield rigs (resist / extender) or projectile rigs (ambit / dmg / RoF). Drop the invul. field for a 2nd LSE.
Besides all that, the Huginn is a better solo combat (!= cloak & hide) ship, and the vagabond is even better for solo due to its dps. |
