Just returned to EVE after a 4-month hiatus.
I'd love to get opinions about Wormhole missions (never tried them, not sure what they're all about.) Profitable? Any loot? Salvage?
Are there Wormhole complexes/sites as well? Do they need to be scanned down?
There have been so many interesting changes with the new expansion. I have some re-learning to do.
Thanks!

There are no wormhole missions, complexes or sites.

A) No such thing as wormhole missions. B) The ONLY stuff in w-space are exploration sites. C) Please, please do your homework on w-space before you decide to try it in the field. Ignorance = death.

that's like reading a strategy guide to a game and knowing everything about it including all the spoilers before you actually play!

Then its not 'exploration', more like 'find out what you already know!'.

Well, ok, feel free to go try and solo a class 5 because you want a surprise. :)
As for the poster directly above me, there is a LOT to learn about w-space if you're dealing with Sleepers specifically and you're running anything bigger than a class 1 or 2. But if you're just talking about the nature of w-space itself, then yeah, it's basically 0.0 with no local player list. -CEO of AC-AF- |

well, if OP doesn't want to spoil himself too badly, it is probably enough to know that higher security status known-space systems tend to lead into easier wormholes and lower sec status systems into harder ones. One or two well fit BC/BS should be able to survive in most wormholes you can find in high sec, just tread with care.
oh, and one probe launcher per ship.
