it took me and a friend about 4 trips to move just 8k units of arkonor the other day in our 11k m3 industrials.( 22k m3 combind) not forgeting Exits dont always spawn in or near systems with stations
My 29k hauler would have done it in 3 trips and my WH always spawns in to high sec so there is always a station nearby somewhere :)
Errm you live a WH so why are we even debating the size of haulers and what ya can move ? doesnt change the fact that smaller corps get all the benefit of alliances by setting up shop in a WH. and the fact that if our system is invaded by a group of players say during a mining op and the gates are camped we can retreat to a well defended pos knowing very well that it would take more BS than the gate could handle to over run us :) and not have to worry about capitals and such

I never argued that fact but we've gone away from the topic at hand which is a lack of sites, as stated wait until after DT should fix your exit issues OP but there is a chance you won't get any actual sites as we've had this happen :)

Had a group of 3 corpies having an extended stay in a C2 WH, was there for a week. By the end of the week, there was no new sites spawning. We had no POS but were logging in/out at a SafeSpot. The only thing that was consistent was that there was only 1 exit at any time usually to a 0.3 or 0.4 system. No new Anoms or sites spawned while we were in there and didn't see any other players all week.
Group consisted of dedicated scanner and 2 combat pilots.
Scan process consisted of dropping 64AU combat probe to quick check all sigs in system. Picked up about 16-17 hits first scan on entry to WH which dwindled to 1 sig hit by end of week...
Something isn't right here, as that is longer than the 72hour re-spawn turnaround... :(
In addition to all this I've noticed lots of K-space anoms and sites not despawning when completed or not spawning rats on entry... would hazard a guess that this issue is not confined to WHs but is affecting k-space exploration too. (this covers most of the sec spectrum 0.0-0.6 that we explore)

Please link to the dev post about that being how long it takes because i thought it was random and that x number of sites were allowed to exist and if they aren't being done then no respawn, i used to have issues with killing sites each day and ending up with blank spots for a few days, we just use that time to kill off the sites in the other WH system thats always linked to ours. |

Well post DT everything is still working here, down to 8 sigs so something despawned was probably one of the grav or ladar sites here, will probe out the WH's shortly to confirm they work :) |

Am on iphone right at the mo so no BMs to hand, but have been exploring for over 2 years and the accepted wisdom has always been that a site will respawn elsewhere in that cluster (not always same system), once it has been cleared, after 72 hours... I'm assuming this is the same for WHs as they are utilising the same spawn mechanics... I'm pretty sure this has also been dev confirmed, as has the minimum 2 or more exits to a WH (I remember reading that particular nugget last week sometime)...
What was weird is that nothing was spawning in the WH, as the OP has also pointed as have a number of other people... I think a week is a good enough time frame to form a conclusion of WH weirdness...
Some older threads with similar issues or explanations of the mechanics (also quoting 72 hour respawn)

Its an isk sink since you can't insure it there you're going to lose isk losing it or leaving it, and how else are you supposed to kill that deadthstar someone setup in your WH system? |

It is not an isk sink, since the isk is not leaving the economy.
What's stopping the people owning that deathstar pumping out dreads/carriers of their own? Wouldn't be long before one corp could clamp down one, or more, wormholes systems all on their own. ___________________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Depending on the quality and class of the system the inability to move them anywhere else and also they have to provide the minerals and BP's if i build a dread in WH space then self destruct it i get back less than mineral cost ergo lost money.

Might be just urban legend but i heard ccp had said that putting up pos in WH space lowers the respawn quality/quantity of plexes/signatures in that WH. |

Its a false rumour. They stated the opposite, but it is infact the mechanics behind the ditrobution of plex's in wormholes that are causing the shortages; Protip - You aren;t supposed to sit in one wormhole waitin for the plex's. ___________________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

If settling is not intended, why did CCP choose a mechanic that reduces signature spawns? Such a system does not penalizemjust the settlers, it penalizes *everyone*.

Its not a false rumor, or an urban legend, its completely true, and it has **** all to do with running or farming the sites. The WH my corp is in, had sites, we didn't run any of them, but set up a POS, and now, every day all we have is one exit WH, and that's it. And while we explore out, its the same everywhere I find POS's, POS in system, all i find are a WH or two, no other sigs whatsoever. Im not complaining, we had planned on running sites in adjacent systems not in our home necesarily, but it is definatly occuring. |

So the replies to topics about what you are talking about FROM CCP, stating POS have nothing to do with the spawning mechanics; Are all lies?.

http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1093070&page=3 Qute from this topic of CCP Employe
"As was mentioned in the past, the presence of starbases has nothing to do with the resource replenishment as its the presence of yourselves depleting the resources which causes them to dry up and running efficient operations. The systems were never designed to favour permanent settlement ... "
So CCP lies ? If it is really happend the way you descrided( settig up a POS , and sites dissapearing without running them) it looks that they do , or they dont know what the hell is going on inside their game .

Two WHs last night with enough gun arrays to make Darth Vader cringe.
One was owned by a 0.0 alliance.
Oh, 0.0 people - the ones who wax poetic about carebears and playing a hard game...
there they are trying to have their own private Idaho.
How many cry when it does not persist as their own personal little ISK pump?
WHs are for "smash and grab". Keeping the POS out of them is not putting anybody at a disadvantage. You still need a sharp crew and some good gear to handle a WH, POS or no POS.
But I like seeing large arrays and junk in the WH, less of that in k-space. |

Well we get respawns and have lived in WH space for what must be atleast a month now if not longer, no shortage of plex's to run :)
