Edited by: Golden Lance on 14/06/2009 07:16:58 I find this totally unacceptable. I am NOT a noob of any kind. Please look at the pictures carefully. There is nothing on scan of any kind. Confirmed by a GM, no sites of any kind are here. (not even finished ones) The "exit" is there, but has NO destination, so doesn't come up on scan. (aka might as well not exist)
GM said basically, Sorry too bad about the exit GM said he "cannot comment" on the no sites.
I have a 2b pos, and a mostly finished carrier being built. Ive had this pos since the incarnation of Apocrypha.

Hm, looks like you flew into a black hole instead of a wormhole.
Seriously though, that's not very cool. Did the GM move you back to normal space? |

That's kind of awesome. Inconvenient, though.

Same in our wormhole. Had 12 hours ago a grav site (first in 3 weeks) and 5 wh and 2 ano. Now, nothing. On scan is nothing, and i flew to all known sigs. Nothing there.
This is not acceptable.

As for being moved, there is a pos in there with 3b worth of stuff in it, moving the prober would be certain death.

Its not that its bad manners, its against the forum rules, that option is reserved for certain forum areas and even then there is a restriction on size. At least your pictures dont break the thread and make it so you ahve to side scroll to read peoples posts. but yeah dev will be by soon to fix the pics. they will be turned into links soon enough. :)
Also on topic sounds like the WH are currently fracked hmm?

ok here's something I heard which might help explain some of this. Whenever a site is run in a wh the site will despawn and then a new site will respawn in that constelation so there is always the same number of sites per constelation in wh space. The problem is if those other systems in your constelation aren't getting run they just take and hold the sites and due to random chance your system will eventually run dry. This is all hearsay / rumour though so I can't be sure this is the explanation for what you are seeing but it seems to match up with what I've seen so far.
However I'm pretty sure the dev blog (or some ccp somewhere) said there will always be a exit wh so you can never get trapped as long as you have probes.
I figured if the above system was how it worked they would have something to make sure you never run completely out of sites/wh's but can't deny what the pictures show
And this is why I only go into wh's for a day and most of the time don't even go into them. |

Ahhhh, poor baby wants exploration to consist of staying in one spot and farming it endlessly. That's not what exploration and unknown space is supposed to be about. It you don't like it, then gtfo of WH space. |

Ive just Petitioned this myself and still waiting for a response We too have a POS in a WH system and last night when i logged off i broke one High sec exit gate and a new one spawned, there were also 3 ladars some of which were new in the last 24-48 hrs and same with a gravi sites.
Well I logged on an hour ago and everything has gone and there is no new Wh Gates at all now so we are basically trapped and no signals what so ever.

/me facepalms. There is always supposed to be a wormhole in a system. It's a bug. CCP did not intend this. It will be fixed, so we can stop giving such ******ed responses to the OP's problem. |

WH Space systems are some kind of instances, except that they're not instanced but you have a chance of 1/4500 of meeting someone else who went in WH Space. They were, indeed, never meant to settle in, and that's the way it should be. Would be no fun if the same happens to WH Space as happened to nullsec, and all the big corps claiming (I know there's no sovereignty in WH Space, but with several big ships and probing every now and then you can protect your site quite well) all systems. It would make it nearly impossible for other people to go in, fight Sleepers and perhaps salvage some T3 technology. That stuff is expensive enough as it is. |

Well one sure fire way of dropping T3 prices is to support colonization..a well setup corp in WH space is gonna ship a hell of a lot more T3 components home than an equal size corp would probing out random sites..

29,000m3 hauler uses next to no mass on a WH so can do many many many trips moving ore to high sec to refine and sell depending on where your exit leads, also confirming i have 9 sigs in my WH system of which i know 2 are WWH's although not probed them out but i will do after DT, seems like an isolated issue.

I was actually talking about a monopoly. I didn't think of the laws of the free market, though. If those corporations do not make price arrangements with each other, it might indeed actually lower the prices.
In that case, go ahead! Make T3 affordable, T2 cheap and T1 a bargain! -----

Though it could be possible, i find it unlikely that the dozens, if not hundreds of Wh based corps have a price fixing scheme running, tbh if T3 prices drop i would imagine the demand for T3 materials even at lower prices, would result in better profits for WH farmers

Look at the neurovisual matrix costs, there used to be buy orders for 7mil a piece for those in jita, just look at the price now, T3 will come down in price its just going to take time just like it did with T2, remember those 500mil a piece hulks?

Yeah but you dont get many units of Arkanor etc into a hauler do you ? dont you agree it would be better if not safer to have a safe place to store the ore and think about hauling it all at a later time :).
it took me and a friend about 4 trips to move just 8k units of arkonor the other day in our 11k m3 industrials.( 22k m3 combind) not forgeting Exits dont always spawn in or near systems with stations
Nuero visuals are down to 4m each and are the only T3 salvage worth getting atm, as for the rest of T3 salavge and loot its already worthless.

My 29k hauler would have done it in 3 trips and my WH always spawns in to high sec so there is always a station nearby somewhere :)

I can assure you, from experience, that 4 characters (which is not what I'd call a large group) with an Orca and 2 Hulks can generate far more ore than can be hauled out of a wormhole system using haulers. We thought this would be a good idea and set out to work this way but quickly ended up with a couple of corp hangars that were filling up with Arkonor and Bistot faster than we could export it to high sec over a 1 week period.
In the end we brought in a large POS an refinery array. Was well worth the 25% loss. The time NOT wasted endlessly hauling and scanning for new high sec holes easily made up for it |

Yeah but it more than keeps up with the single hulk i use with max skills, make more than enough to cover the time spent because i only bother with the expensive ores, the fact that you got an orca in there in the first place implies you need a larger WH than mine has :) |
