I made another character to start over (since I found out that my attribute selections stinks). So I am trying to transfer my money from my current character to my new one, first I tried transferring (though the give money option) 500k but only 1k showed up on my alt, then I tried 500k again and only 2k showed up.
Is there a cap? and how the heck can I transferre my money now?

check journals on wallet. if the money hasnt transferred petition.

Are you transferring to the right person? Ideally you search for the name of your alt, add him to your buddy list, then rightclick, give money.
Are you typing 500000, or 500k, 500.000, or some other combination of letters and punctuation?

Thanks for the replies. I was typing 500000 in the give money window. My transaction journal is actually showing the first transfer as 1000 and the second as 2000 isk, although I typed 500000?! Its going to the right char, as he did receive 1000 and then 2000 isk.
I am a bit confused as I was also told online by fellow players that there is no cap. The character is new (if that makes any difference?) and its within the same account (I only own one account and was transferring between alts).

I just did the same thing. Trans from my first guy (only 50000) to my spankin new one. My walet reported I had the 50000 but when I went to buy something it did not report I had the money.
I completely out of the game and back in and everything was good...try logging all the way out (exit game) after transfering the money.
