What about past members? For example Cosmic Raider and the 22nd were instrumental in this achievement but have now left FW (has the 22nd left yet?). Will they receive the medal anyway? I think they should. Edit: added news link.

I was in the 22nd before splitting off from them. Is it just a blanket award to those in the Caldari Militia on the 23rd of June? Or will it be more selective? Edit for clariy.

This might upset quite a few people if done badly. But then, it seems to me that nothing can be done in this game without seriously upsetting somebody.

To be honest, I don't see why you care. Such a medal is like a slap in the face. "Good, you won FW. Here's a worthless, widely available medal."

What would happen to that guy if he'd circle the can in hostile lowsec with hundreds of people want to kill him for doing that ? Caldari destroyed over 300 billions of assets in the process. They crushed countless fleets and chased the Gallente off, in order to be able to circle the plexes. They first destroyed Gallente's ships, then they broke their will and finally took their land. A recognition and reward for this flawless victory is truly appropriate.

In case CCP just checks on the specific date who is part of the militia and who's not, I just re-joined. If the 22nd and other corps that left FW in the past (and are now in an alliance and thus can't re-join) don't get awarded it'd be rather silly IMO.
