There will be an upcoming large set of festivities planned to honor the "epic" war that wasn't. Honestly, this war was about as much fun as a wet herring. That said, I'm attempting to make sure it ends with the kinda fun it truly deserved in the first place.
Prizes and magnitude of games are pretty high, but may be epic.
If you, your corp, or your alliance are willing to take the day off from eve, grudges, and mud slinging, I encourage you to participate.
Expected payouts are estimated at a value of 30-40 bil isk.
Multiple different contest.
ONLY significant participators in the war will be allowed to join including those that have left, but can prove old membership in entities involved in the war. A full list of alliances and corps that will qualify you will be delivered later.
If you are an alliance head and you wish to Help make these Games and the High levels of fun expected to work, Please eve mail or convo Yaay in game.
I would really like to hear from:
GOONS
RZR
MM (hi vuk)

BOB
AAA
EXE
GBC entities
AAA friends
or others who might think they contributed to the war.
Assuming we come to a proper agreement, Chribba has agreed to work with me on securing funds/donations and what not once we have a proper structure in place for said STUFF.
Further Details will come later once me and the RKK Idjets decide this is fun enough to warrant everyone to come. |

We were there in delve/querious right after disband of brothers for two days, captured the 49- station and it was our for couple more days, inside kenny sov even. After that we left delve for curse, came for a new visit recently, and now we are in 49- again when news of kenny withdrawing from Delve came. Full circle or something?

Props for the initiative Yaay, what kind of games do you have in mind? Because in the past anytime somebody tried making big games in eve that wernt just tourney (stuff like mining competitions or can soccer playoffs) it never really worked out that well.

Of course you guys would need to borrow a cap fleet from somewhere but it would be pretty awesome, each side starts off at its own R64 moon... hmm on second thoughts that's not going to work too well.
How about 'Pets win Prizes'? You find a pet that doesn't hate you and get them to jump through hoops on your behalf. Ah crap, again that's going to be no fun for you guys just having to watch. Ideally we'd something that played to the strengths of your alliance members.
Ok! How about 'Move the Goalposts'. The aim of the game is to try and rationalise the most comprehensive defeat in the history of the game as some kind of victory. Bonus points for referencing von Clausewitz, Sun Tzu or Myamoto Musashi!
Or 'Pass the Blame' where instead of a prize under all the layers of wrapping paper there's a handcrafted excuse from Molle attributing his utter failure to someone else.
I think 'Jump Freighter Pinata' is a winner. One side has to try and get all their stuff out of a system that their leadership told them was impregnable while the other side brings the sticks. |

I am all in favor of adding gameplay to Eve. Here are some of the interesting ideas I've heard.
Tournament-style fights ( 1v1, 2v2, etc )
GREAT OUTDOOR FRIGATE FIGHT ( really awesome idea )
Asymmetrical fights? ( ie, battleship vs 2 cruisers, etc )
Jetcan football - all falcons or other ECM ships fitted with a
tractor beam. The idea is to tractor the jetcan through the
goal while the other team is trying to jam you
Industrial football - a can full of trit is in the middle of the field, each team has it's own can. The goal is to move all the trit (or some threshold amount ) to your teams can. I don't remember what the team layout would be - maybe one industrial and a bunch of frigates for webbing/bumping
These aren't my ideas, just stole them off gf.com. C'mon guys, lets think of some more actual games we can add to the horrible, horrible game that is Eve.

Covert-ops race though a set route of gate camps. Each corp or alliance would get one system on the route they can camp. Winners would be covops that survive and corp with the most kills.
KenZoku would not get a system to camp, since they are unable to hold space hold space. |

I can't remember a single thing Band Of Brothers or Kenzoku did that impressed me in the last 3 years aside of course the metagaming; creating lag on adversaries, grid manipulation, and titan bowling. Though, that didn't impress me positively much.
Kenzoku deserves nothing, because they have earned nothing.

This man makes an excellent point. I mean, BoB only managed to position itself as a pivotal force so substantial that even now, months after its death, it is still a key topic of conversation in EVE and probably remains the single most polarizing player organization to be involved in this game since the start (even managing to get a few key CCP people into their court, depending on who you ask) but that is nothing compared to the reltively sweeping impact that a fellow like Soldis and his elite crew of empire station campers have had.

Actually I parked my Eos and switched to a Rifter because I was sick of the "noobs in rifters" excuse .. it was giving Rifters a bad name.
Suffice to say, as expected, the problem was not with the ship.

You have to undock to fight. Regardless of what ship you have, if it is in station, it won't contribute. Nobody ever won a battle by having more in local. It is the pilots that are willing to leave the undock and fight against outrageous odds that make for good comrades, not the well skilled pilot that didn't want to risk a boat.
In the end, it wasn't strategy, or combat, or St. Hargoth, it was about fun. Goons found ways to have it, and to make sure our allies were included. Bob tried to hoard it, and make others pay for the pleasure.
There are only 2 bob pilots that will never be blue to me, they know who they are. To the rest: GF
