A couple thoughts
Given the amount of artwork that has been generated for dust (including building interiors) will CCP be looking for opportunities to reuse some of this content in Incarna? I mean a wall is a wall regardless of if it is on the ground or in space. This could be a way to allow development of Incarna to continue, without requiring huge amounts of the art departments time.
I think that the exploration type gameplay is very promising, as in addition to being an exciting sounding feature, it also allows CCP to introduce new limited run modules (such as the ones that are coming with Inferno).
Also I think social areas should be considered, as they would provide a method for new players to meet other players and eventually join their corps.
Also it might be worthwhile asking CCP if future iterations of Incarna will be rolled out as an optional beta, that players can opt into.
Finally, I think that a players appearance in Incarna should reflect their achievements in EVE. Allow players to purchase pirate tattoos using loyalty points. Faction warefare players should be able to purchase militia uniforms using the same method. Players with a high standing should be able to access better versions of the captains quarters as it seems appropriate that a corporation would seek to reward a high performing player in this way. It would also be good to hear what happened to the tattoos that were meant to be introduced in Inferno I can post on a forum, therefore I represent everyone. |

I think it would also be interesting to hear about CCPs future plans for microtransactions. Personally I'm not against the NeX store since I can buy anything I want from it with ISK anyway (something that the whiners seem to conveniently forget).
Will be me getting customisable ship skins through the NeX store anytime soon?

CSM should ask CCP on the current state of the prototyping for the exploration feature for Incarna. Given that this seems a really fun feature it would be great if CSM could give CCP the thumbs up to continue heading in that direction.

Add social spaces. They are important for new players too as they make it easier to meet exisiting players and build friendships.
Anything that ultimately helps new players to get in to player corps is a huge plus. This is where social spaces in Incarna will help.
Also we need to be able to meet Dust players somewhere. I'd rather do it through Incarna than through a clunky text interface. I can post on a forum, therefore I represent everyone. |

Issler Dainze wrote: I'd have to say I am more in agreement with this POV than my esteemed CSM 7 peer. We really can't tie the negative reaction to Incarna to the idea that "social" spaces are by definition "evil" and not inline with what Eve is about.
Tying ambulation to game play certainly has to be the goal but a lot of players are going to be happy to see incremental improved WiS experiences that may only have small ties to game elements if it gets that door open. A lot of corporate and alliance "in person" experiences would be welcome by a large segment of Eve even if it they didn't have a major connection to current Eve mechanics.
I fear that "we didn't deliver anything but pants and tats for years because we couldn't think of a way to make it part of a "game mechanic" could be the result if that "game mechanic" bar is applied too vigorously.
We need that door open somehow, sooner rather than later, even if at first its only open a little.

Isn't this something that CCP could do on the test server? Release Incarna incrementally for testing by interested players and then roll it out to tranquility when it reatures a satisfactory level of completeness and has a good feature set? I can post on a forum, therefore I represent everyone. |

I'd much prefer to see "empty social spaces" implemented well before any "meaningful" content gets added. Allowing multiplayer spaces before you need to use them means that the folks responsible for tuning that side of the game get a chance to do so before the lack of tuning breaks some aspect of game play completely. You have to walk before you can run. You have to be able to squeeze multiple high detail avatars into a space at once before they can start playing poker together.
I'm really keen to see more of Incarna. But CCP should not release more empty spaces to the main server. That is what the test server should be used for. I can post on a forum, therefore I represent everyone. |

Guns. Which rumour has it that CCP is currently experimenting with in their Incarna Exploration prototype. I can post on a forum, therefore I represent everyone. |

You can actually play the Slay game that was going to be featured in establishments by visiting the Dust space on the PS home.
It is very addictive and fun.
Would love to see this introduced into EVE at last. I can post on a forum, therefore I represent everyone. |
