As for generating an african american, try minmatar it's the closest it gets.
Also there where new bloodlines announced for shiva, but they canned it because of lack of time (mainly to include asian features).

ok, so my little categorys aren't perfect, 
how 'bout that ALOT of amarr females look kinda psycho. (I don't like the look of mostly bald women... its weird)
so some people play minm females... but they don't LOOK minm to me... and I still think theres a far fewer amount than there are of the other females

Hi.
Naty, try with the Minmatarr brutor bloodline, they have an african look.
They actually are african somatically. Unfortunately they may not have the variety you can get with a caucasian choice though. Still not bad if you try to play with the char system a bit.
Try it out and see for yourself.

P.S: You OUGHT to try with Brutor bloodline. They have dreadlocks and many other hair variations. I'm surprised you didn't noticed the first time when loooking at the different races. |

Umm Brutors are obviously of African decent.
Frankly Im surprised that any African American is willing to play this game. It always seemed like, not so veiled racism to call the Africans a derivation od "brute" and make them the least intelligent race.

Minmatar females can be pretty hot. Unfortuantly, I had an accident with the walls of my pod. 
I plan on seeking cosmetic surgery one day, but at the moment I can't be bothered with picking a new facial structure. 
Go Minmatar my darkie brother. Not only do we have dark skin, but our ships are made of junk metal and duct tape.
We appeal to the blacks, as well as southern american whities. yay.

As others have mentioned the Minmatar Brutor tribe would be your best choice. There are also some medium dark skin tones for Intaki. You can make some major changes in look playing with lighting and skin tones.
They were planing on adding new bloodlines with Shiva that would be asian but thats been postponed.

(Not counting myself)
Check our Lorna Doone or Rarium's portraits. They look very pretty and very feminine.
Try playing with the character editor some more (to the original poster) I was very impressed with the myriad combinations available.
