I hav eonly one character in-game so Im not sure if there are more diverse looking people/races to choose from...is there? I have to admit i was very disappointed in the limited ethnic/racial groups to choose from when creating a character. Please dont tell me the European Union is the only earthlings who get off the planet in the future.

You could create your own ethnic minority and roleplay it to the bone, if done well and not in contradiction to the prime fiction who knows, it might get picked up on and made canon by the devs.

Its hard to role-play an Asian or African blood-line when your character looks like Sean Penn.
I was just very disappointed.

You did actually play with the options in the character generator didn't you?
Pigmentation, skull shape, it's all in there ...
Try clicking my portrait ... I'd say I don't look like a WASP. |

I would say you aughta play around with the character gen a bit more, it has some amazing variety thats possible.
I'd say as far as the races go... its kinda like...
Gallente Male: lanky, possibly slightly too nice looking type, sorta rustic... kinda.
Gallente Female: The only race whos females actually can look feminine and nice.
Caldari Male: tough, buff, otherwise somewhat nondescript millitary-looking caucasian.
Caldari Female: Butch, tough, not so feminine.
Amarr Male: utterly arrogant looking, cut featured male, or hooded Emperor Palpatine wanna-be's (sorry... lol, thats wht comes to mind) oh... or starven half dead looking creepy people.
Amarr Female. psycho looking ****s.
Minmatar Male: Black dude.
Minmatar Female: ... I don't think anyone actually plays minmatar females...

I'd say as far as the races go... its kinda like...

Ok, Im going to make it simple. Im African-American. I'd like a character I can identify with. There is nothing worse than creating a character that you role-play with, an extension of yourself, or some aspect of yourself and then find yourself being corraled into having your portrait look like something else all together.
Skin stones in game go from milk to beige. Hair types are from bald to straight. I'd like a character that looks like the face in the upper right hand corner of teh website's banner, but i'd like to make him BROWN in color...or even almost black. I'd like to see some curly hair types...tight curls and for long hair...straight, loose curls, tight curls and even dreadlocks.
Variations from German to Italian is not enough.
Now if Minmitars look black thats cool...but can I have a Minmitar looking guy as a Gallente...there should be some cross-over.(p.s. excuse my mispellings, I havent been around long enough to have them down).

Wow, disappointed? really, I've spent hours with that thing, I think it's awesome, you create just about anything. Only thing lacking is asian really.

Wow, disappointed? really, I've spent hours with that thing, I think it's awesome, you create just about anything. Only thing lacking is asian really.

How about you just acknowledge the fact that it's not you in space but your represenative.
