I was just curious as to what the Logistics Readiness Squadron actually does. I can't find accurate information on what they do. Are they just maintenance guys? Do they work with communications? Any idea's? |

Not sure about how the Air Force do their stuff, but if it's anything like a wing support squad in the Marine Corps, then you'll have all diff. sorts of elements in it, Engineers, Supply, Hvy Equip, Utilities, Motor T, Airfield Op, MP etc. etc. Basically everything you'd need to setup and maintain an expedition airfield. I'd imagine for the AF it'd be geared more towards supply and transport for existing airfields. |

Well, the Air Force isn't really known for their physical prowess and those baggage carriers move pretty fast...

It's more along the lines of "Getting your equipment there* quickly!"
