Do we keep skill points accumulated during the beta for the real release?
If so, is it official or hear-say? |

At Eve Fanfest 2012, some of the devs said there probably would be a skill point carry-over, or something similar.
It would be great to have this confirmed either way. |

the psn forum we use for dust is best place to ask this id think but i dout that the skill points we have from the beta will carry over as it would be unfair if anything we would get some items to show we was beta testers like i have got in other games iv tested.
so i very much dout we will get to keep them. |

FYI: No skill points transfer at the end of EVE-O beta, instead everybody got killed in a spectacular manner.

Just got my voucher via email (yes I was checking hourly for two days now lol) and have the client downloading.........I am kinda curious about the OP's question myself. It seems it would be a terrible waste of time to start training out a solid merc, only to lose the SP when the game officially launches. Perhaps we will get SP reimbursement and asset reimbursement once the game transfers from beta to live. |

Got my voucher. But that is a great question. But since it's closed beta I can almost guarantee that you won't be keeping those SP. |

I was under the impression that the closed beta will patch into an open beta, with a final patch being the complete first build. I may have misunderstood during all the CCP bustle and shitstorms over the past year, but here's to hoping we gets our SP lol |

If you look at the Fanfest 2012 YouTube videos, a member of the audience asks the devs whether the skill points will carry over from beta.
The devs thought it was a good idea. I think they said one of the options was to re-issue the skill points accumulated.
CCP always seem to do things a little differently from other companies - I think this is one reason why CCP are so successful.
It would be great if a dev gave their input on this thread! |

Most games give you some kind of Item or Title for Closed beta testing and nothing for open beta testing.
World of Tanks is the first game that gave nothing for closed beta testing and a premium tank for open beta.
I would be shocked if they allowed you keep your assets and SP from closed beta as it would give you a very unfair head start and kill the balance right from the start as a smart person would build a corp with beta players and rule the battlefield. |
