...what is the official reason why we cannot train more than one toon per account at a time? Has the game not been around long enough for us to be able to train our 3 toons on one account at the same time? It would be nice to keep training my main and say train a toon specialized in electronic frigate warfare - or maybe a specialized logi toon.
What say everyone else - do you wish to see the ability to train three toons at the same time?
What if CCP gave the option to pay more for an account to train them at the same time. Say to train all three on one account would run $21.00 US a month. Would you go for that? |

I'm sure the official reason is $$. More potential training per account means you keep the accounts active longer. |

Believe it or not, it's to make EVE difficult. There was a time when EVE was intended to not be a facerolling game.

Thus is the nature of CCP and PLEX. Charge a premium for the PLEX. Then exchange service for said PLEX at a premium as well.

I believe you used to be able to train on all your toons at the same time..
But now it's about money, each extra toon with active training is an extra paid account.. So basically CCP does give you the option to pay extra, well, double :) |

Yeah they're not exactly being sneaky about it either. The fact that they give us three character slots doesn't exactly hide their money grubbing ways, in fact it rubs it in our faces, taunting us.

Not that I recall. Been playing since beta. Frankly I am not even sure why the extra toon slots are there to begin with. Should just be removed.

Why would they? Those that want more characters training pay for more accounts, and then pay transfer fees on top of that.
They make a fortune by restricting training to one character. |

Not positive, just remember someone saying that it used to be able to be done.. but alas I've only been playing since last Nov.. so can't speak to it.
As for why have more than one ? Well I know lots of people use them for PI.. Spy's.. Cyno for their corp..
Currently I have a few accounts, all training.. when I'm happy with the level my toon is at, I'll transfer it to another account.. don't run them all at once anyway.. but I'll have 2-3 different toons to chose from depending on what I'm doing.. Like PvP, PvE, Mining, Freightor, etc.. |
