The only difference between blocks is that a block that does not get completely filled will have all reservations that fall into it cancelled, so really you want to be in earliest block you can. There is no benefit from spreading your investment across multiple blocks.
There are actually two benefits I can see to spliting your investment across multiple blocks - you don't need to provide all your isk at once (could be relevant if you are liquidating something to provide the isk) and if there were a scam at the bpo purchase stage you would only lose part of your investment.
Not likely to be major benefits - the only reason I've ended up investing in two blocks was I had more isk available after I made the initial reservation.

As I understand it the main reason to be concerned about which block your isk is collected for is that if a block isn't filled then that bpo won't be bought and everyone who had isk collected for that block will get refunded that isk.
Thus people whose isk was collected for block 1 or block 2 had have that isk used to buy a bpo and will be getting a payout whenever a bpc is sold. Those who are having isk collected at the moment have a chance of the block not being filled.
Those who haven't paid on time are being (I believe) put to the end of the line for collection thus stand a bigger chance of being in this situation.

This is the situation with the BPOs at the moment as far as I can tell
Leviathan ME 0 - in copy, due to complete this month Erebus ME 0 - in ME research atm, due to complete January Avatar ME 0 - in ME research atm, due to complete February
I believe the plan was to put the Leviathan into ME research once the copy has been completed. There will be time to see what effect Dominion has before any of the other prints come out of research.

This is meant to be a long term investment. There has only been one bpc produced so far, unfortunately that came out of the oven just before Dominion was due. I'm not surprised noone bought the bpc then (noone could be sure how the Dominion changes would work in practice). After Dominion there was a 2 week wait before the new sov mechanics were fully in place. Its only been this past weekend where there have been (as far as I know) major battles with Titans on the field (as opposed to being used for bridging) on both sides.
For those that have missed it there have been two big fights in Fountain. The first was IT attempting to take down a TCU to prevent GS/PL/SOT getting sov in a station system. This battle included 10 titans defending and 5 attacking. The second was last night/this morning with IT defending this time while they waited for their TCU to online in another station system. As far as I can tell there were 10+ IT titans defending and an unknown number of PL titans attacking. What is known is there were 4 PL titans killed (first titans killed since Dominion afaik).
This just proves that _any_ project involving titans is going to be long term - it takes 3 months to produce a copy or add a lvl of me and I don't know how long to actually build one. Alliances seem to have been holding them back until they had a better idea of how things work in Dominion, now they are being used in large numbers again I'd expect more demand for bpcs.

Are you really suggesting that I should inflate the dividend by ignoring operational costs?
Quote: Titans For You is plenty liquid with about 3.5 billion in isk from our POS fuel budget and our war chest. Our only costs are POS fuel and office rental. So we don't need to sell any BPCs to keep things going for years.
Assuming you were truthful in that last quote, what has changed? On the one hand you claimed you had enough in the kitty to keep going for years. Now you suddenly need 500m. Granted it is not a huge sum, but then you are unlikely to be paying your shareholders much at all in the foreseeable future.
5B for one Titan copy every nine months is a far cry from your original projection. What is your new projection? What percentage annual dividend do you believe you will be able to pay investors?
3.5 billion from POS fuel _and_ war chest. Say POS fuel costs are 100 mil a month thats 3 years. But a war dec could wipe out a reasonable chunk of that.
As for one titan copy every nine months the original plan was always produce an me 0 bpc from one bpo whilst research the other two to me 1. The first me 1 bpc is due out next month and a second in May iirc. Once things get up to speed there should be 12 bpcs produced a year although that will not be happening until the first bpo has also been researched to me 1.
Given that all future bpcs should be coming out at me 1 I'd expect they should go for more than 5 bil each and the upkeep costs will be roughly 100 mil from each sale.
This was always meant to be a long term project.

I'm sorry, there is a 500 share minimum.
Bad Bobby - I'd missed the 500 minumum when I requested 1400 shares on the previous page. Could I up this to the round 1500.
Also if you could confirm Sandrane Kipler as a previous share holder I'd be willing to sell 100 shares to Sandrane after the shares have been distributed for 100million and 1 isk (its the principle of the thing, don't want to make an invetment I have made _some_ profit on).

I'll probably be buying another 1000 shares (would be more but I've already committed to investing in the Hydra Reloaded bond ;)

What is total capitalization of T4U now?
I was going to ask a similar question and another related question:
How many shares are now in existance for Titans for You? What bpos does T4U now own (and what is their me/pe level)?
Also out of interest how many different shareholders are there?

Lastly, my stock numbers are based on the publicly available stock information for 'titans for you'. As this is game, I will admit I don't spend hours and hour pouring over the various IPO submissions.
Show info on any corp in the game gives an inaccurate count of shares unless no shares beyond the original 1000 have been created. The shares figure shown on the attributes tab for titans for you just shows the number of shares created in the last expansion - 68000 which was for the purchase of an me2 erebus or avatar bpo (can't actually remember which).
There are currently 342000 shares as have been stated by others, this expansion will take the total shares to 450000. This figure is also given in Bad Bobby's first expansion post.
Kithran (who made the very first reservation when Titans For You started so has definitely been here since the begining ;)
