I can say with 100% certainty that I won't be CEO by mid-December (or November or whenever Jade's account expires, which is crunch time on that score) at the very latest. At that point either Jade will return as CEO or a new one will be chosen after a full discussion and friendly vote between the members.
Personally I think it is a shame that you won't remain as CEO. From reading your posts I can see that you are a very fair and honourable person. Whilst some may see some of the history differently to you, it is clear that you are genuinely posting it as you see it with no attempt at distortion or spin. Your integrity shines out of your words like a ray of sunshine. I am sure that with you as the CEO Jericho Fraction would grow into a respected corporation and would prosper. Something I do not see happening with Jade at the head because of his playing style and more importantly his desire to force his playing style on others.
You Sir have my utmost respect. I congratulate you on your appointment to CEO, however temporary it may be. I wish you the very best of luck in acheiving the very laudable goals you have laid out in this thread.

Let's face it... he/she was a major source of conflict in this game, more than any one character ever.
I used to be another character, and as that character, Jade and I had a long talk after she was tossed from the NVA. I can tell you, he/she was an arrogant individual. I can even tell you personal stuff, but I'll skip it for now.
Some times, humility is forced upon an individual. In Jade's case, it is overdue.
In the end though... so what. Eve exists, so let's rock.

One last thing...
About Jade "disappearing from the eve landscape"... yeah, that may happen... for a while.
But, like myself, lotsa old timers get fed up with the game... leave, and then after many months remember what made Eve Special.
So, they try to reclaim their old accounts, and come back to eve.
In the event they cant reclaim their old accounts, *snip*
So, even if Jade leaves, he/she will probably be back once they forget the bad parts of eve and remember the fun and friendships..

Well, ATI sorted out their driver problems so i can actually launch EVE again without crashing the whole system ;s
didn't reactivate my old account tho', can't really afford paying for two games at once ;p But tempted to check it back when new update comes.
(my hangar must be the most mothballed and outdated collection of junk by now... >>;

Sad you still have that attitude. I think Jade will be fine if he lays low and doesn't get in the heated mix of things, and maybe return. Jade you gotta remember most of these people are kids, you play with so getting some kind of organized group with the same beliefs is never going to work. We have those struggles, PvP against Industry, do what you do best and support the fighters 150%. GL to you in Jericho. Stay out of Curse.
