Hello,
Im looking to see if anyone is interested in playing some texas hold'em for isk. I have been messing around with PokerRoom.com and we should be able to work it using a private play money table.
If your interested in doing this on a weekend please post here with the times you are available on the weekends.
Also post how much of a buy in you think would be good so i can get an idea of how much people want to play for. I am thinking for a first night 1-2 mil buy, meaning if we get a full table the winner would take home 10-20mil or we can split it at 75%/25% for first and second place.
PokerRoom is free to register and download. And i like the software alot better than partypoker so far.

I'd suggest you use something other than pokerroom.com servers as they are independant of each other and not all players can be view/connect globaly.
This means that you might experience that not all players are able to connect to the same game.

Truepoker has nice setup, not to mention cool avatars... but any site I can access is cool. 1-2 mil for starting buyins sounds good.:) Can we arrange a no-limit format? That would be great, but any format is ok with me.
My availiable times are 19:00 gmt/eve-time to down-time, (12:00 gmt/eve-time,) on Sat/sun/mon, 9:00-dt tues-fri.

Maybe run 2 alternatively timed games? One at night (gametime) and one during DT for yanks and aussies.
Checked out Truepoker and Pokerstar and neither allow you to create your own table (to my knowledge)

Has any1 tried gamespy at all, i know they cater for many different types of poker, including Texas hold'em, 5 card draw, and double draw,
i have only played in the public rooms but there are password protected private rooms, havnt tried it, but you might be able to use them...
please keep me posted, as i would be interested aswell.

I just dl'ed and installed th pokerroom software, but the private EVEONLINE room is nowhere to be found. Is it still live ?

What would be the buy-in be? 5mil? That'd probably make for a damn good payout to most parties, and who would hold the isk? if we have 10-15 people, which to me is a decent tournament, that's 50-75mil. ton of cash.
Anyone to trust!?
We have to setup a specific time we can be on to actually get a tourny going, probably be good to do a weekend, perhaps this coming weekend for the first game?
