For most tasks a Silver XBL account is good enough, and i believe all consoles (Or most?) come with a free lifetime silver account. Whereas PS3 owners get access to all online features without paying after purchasing the game, another reason to boycott MS :)

So yes whilst i do pay for my service,i pay for a vastly supierior service. Facebook can be accessed from near enough anything with a browser, who cares about streaming movies its a games console if i wish to stream movies i use the proper tool for the job a PC, so basically you're paying for movies from what i see and not a lot else, party systems exist for games that need them, and mentioning netflix twice just to bulk out the post sheesh >.> Sky suck ass as anything worth watching on there comes out elsewhere, as i said XBL is a ripoff of epic proportions given most of what you mention is already the norm after buying an internet connection ;)
