For C3s might as well use this fit:
Quote:[Drake, C3 Drake] Shield Power Relay II Shield Power Relay II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II
Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Adaptive Invulnerability Field II EM Ward Amplifier II Thermic Dissipation Amplifier II
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile [empty high slot]
Medium Core Defense Field Purger I Medium Core Defense Field Purger I Medium Core Defense Field Purger I
Hobgoblin II x5
It passive tanks 760dps if you have a mindlinked tengu boosting siege. |

No implants with that fit, with 5% missile implants and 5% shield recharge implants (which you probably don't want to use in wormholes) it tanks 804dps and does 551dps damage.
Not sure what your using for ganglinks but it does need the t2 mindlinked tengu booster to really shine - but it handles C3s fine without. |

Try using the meta4 shield power relays in the low (same stats, better fitting). CPU is 643 of 656 with my skills and no fitting implants). |

Daniel Plain wrote:the setup with two BCUs is clearly superior for C3 imo. not only does it have more paper dps, it is also much more cap stable and tanks better when capped out. also, you do not really need a target painter for C3s, just get cheap +3% missile implants and your damage should be fine. as for the drake vs nighthawk issue: i'd personally stick to drakes. they are cheap enough so that losing one or two doesn't really hurt you financially.
Thats pretty much what we did - they are solid fits and TPing isn't overly needed in C3s along w/ cheap implants to top off the missile damage/applied damage. When we did it the sleepers didn't neut but there weren't t2 ganglinks either so should more or less balance out anyhow.
1-2 people would swap the passive resist amps for a shield recharger and a target painter which works well enough to or for a little more tank you can swap the thermal resist amp for a shield recharger - I prefer the thermal resist version tho as if you do encounter PVP you can drop a scimi or couple of basis in along with something with tackle and its a pretty tough setup to break. |

I'm not of the opinion its worth using tengus for C3 sites (tho I've done it in the past) - drakes just handle it well enough with a lot less ISK on the line if you get ganked.
Its a bit of a marmite setup but if you want to do C3 sites really fast with 3-4 chars and have a good siege booster (not just shield harmonising on a random drake) then active shield tanked domi doing shield/energy RR along with shield tanked oracles will blitz the cruisers and BS tho the frigs will either need some webbing support or let the domi concentrate on them with light drones. |
