Ive been reading alot of requests for tractor beams for scoping cargo containers.
As a minmatar a scoff at the idea of using a "beam" to do my work, sounds a bit too Amarrish.
Heres a better solution in keeping with our races can do nature
I want a electomagnet on the end of a steel cable and winch, which i can fire at the containers at some distance turing on the magnet and draging the container closer to me.
Hell with all the changes the "CCP techies" have done to my guns i need the target practice i can get.
anyway Nurf the beams, Boost the projectiles :)

great idea and good job on trying to keep with the RP. however...
maybe the Amarrians will also think of a more cost effective way to scoop cargo. perhaps they will suit up their slaves in very cheap Spacesuits and make them "swim" out to the cans. do you really want more slaves put directly into harms way?? because, if i was an Amarr for real, and i had heard your statement, you better believe that i'd be thinking of things like this. especially after hearing, "sounds a bit too Amarrish"...

great idea good for slow battle ships is it a high middle or low solt item and does it use the projectiles skill ?
