When I'm playing eve, my computers clock accelerates.
No, I'm not joking. My computer gains about 20 minues for every hour I play. Here's the really odd bit. When I close eve (or it eventually locks up as it does a LOT) the clock resets to the correct time.
Any ideas?

I've never heard of this happening. I would suggest submitting a bug report. Maybe the QA team has an answer for you.

When I change the time on my computer it also changes the time on Eve's time/calendar.
For instance, If I set my calendar a head five days and I start training a five day skill, then instantly the skill says completion imminent.

It seems to me that intentionally (and randomly) altering our PC clocks while connected to Eve would be a simple and effective way of hosing macro miners. Please consider it

When I play eve, my clock sometimes goes back 3 hours instantly, for no reason.. and unless I manually change it back, my eve shows a black screen and even locks if i dont change it back often enough. _____________________________________ Perpetually driven, your end is our beginning. Now that would be cool if it worked

Seems I blamed eve too early.
I checked it out, seems the asus A7N8X motherboard is notorious for keeping proper time in windows XP.
I disabled the time service, flashed the bios then cleard all settings using a 3rd party utility.
Bang on now.

I dont think it's XP. Out of interest can those who are suffering from this issue let me know what motherboard and more importantly what BIOS your running. It's more than likely linked to that than the EVE client itself. --------------------------------- No Slugs were harmed in the creation of this signature --------------------------------- |
