Ore theft and some strategic smack talk has garnered me a free war dec from F.F.C.C.P Corp.
Only issue is, I am not a great PVP'r - but I guess this is the way to become one. lol
I have a fleet of Rifter's ready to go.
Any tactical advice, strategic advice on how to conduct this?
I am assuming insurgent tactics. I have 318 safe spots in Frarn, so can hide (I ninja salvage).
Wonder if it would be smart to park some figs outside of station... etc.

Second account (for scouting etc, in an npc corp), make a list of all their members, gain access to locator agents and use them on them (if you dont have them, tons of people do and will help you...no not me :P)
And you know...kick ass :)

Honestly, looking at that killboard, they have lost nearly 3 times what they have killed. Go hire yourself one, maybe two halfway decent PvPers, and you will be fine.

Get an alt into their corp, join up a mission running gang, find a juicy ship, go kill it with you and your alt.

Main thing to remember if you get wardeced is they don't get to call terms, bide your time and f*ck em up when they aren't expecting it.
get intel on whereabouts from out of corp alts/friends, locator agents, if you think they are running missions or mining out grav sites probe them out, blah blah etc etc.

There killboard is the single most imortant piece of intel you could ever hope of obtaining.
It shows you who all is in there corp(that will fight), what ships they mainly fly, if they gank targets or just get lucky encounters, all sorts of tasty information. Study there killboard, find all the members you can and add them to your buddy list.
If you have any friends that can help in any way such as logistical support or scouting then excellent, if not contact me in-game. I might be able to help you there. Maybe. In the near future I am hoping to get decked by a whole alliance of carebears who autopilot hulks and orca's(you know who you are if your reading this) and then hire mercs cause they cant back up there own words.

Hire out of corp remote reppers if your really struggling, these guys will rep your ships for you when they get hit, Basilisk/Scimitar topping up med extended Rifters buzzing round a BS from 70km away 4TW :D

I am taking it upon myself to teach this carebear corp that there is no punishment for the crimes I committed. :)
And my dear Lady, just because I am inexperienced in PVP doesn't mean I don't welcome some mutual Empire PVP. Better chances for me than Low Sec I'd say. I am more than willing to learn. I embrace the cold, unforgiving realities of EVE Space, otherwise I would not be here.
So the smacktalk will only continue I am afraid. I am addicted to the tears I guess.

I recommend you keep moving, i.e., don't just hang out in Frarn. They will eventually blob you if you stop moving. As long as you're going system to system, you'll have a better chance of catching some of them.
I don't know how big their corp is, but usually when a large corp is at war with a solo player, none of their members are willing to give up what they're doing (ratting, mining, etc) because each individual figures the chance of running into you is quite low. So, go hunting!

Yes, I have moved some ships around - but so far, they don't seem to be very interested in the war dec. I on the other hand am taking it very seriously. I have even tried to recruit ex-members as spies (no luck on that front yet).
I went hunting last night but due to a colicky baby, had to cut it short. Will try again tonight. It doesn't look like I am going to have to worry about being station camped - well at least until I get my first miner kill. haha
What are the good mining systems around Hek?
(They don't even seem to read the forums, or at least C&P)

You're fitting your rifters wrong. A frigate should never be rigged. Or dual tanked. I would suggest something along the lines of...
200mm RT, SAR, DCUII
web(replaceable with TD), scrambler, cold-gas AB
3 x 150 IIs(125s if you're cheap), small nos
keep barrage and emp with you. Hail is awful for a frigate and RF EMP is not worth it.

WHy is Hail Awful? I have nos so cap hit won't hurt me.
I was thinking Barrage because the damage is more spread out.. Dual tanked to give more utility to the DMG II..
But that was my initial Rifter, it died and my war fleet is not rigged. :) I thought the 200's would make up for the DPS lost on being dual tanked and they seem to fly cruisers, so not sure that I would need a web?

In doing my research alot of the people in FFCCP have alts in Crescent Industries. So I war dec'd Crescent Industries last night.
No losses, no kills yet.

90% of the time you want EMP, but barrage is pretty nice. hail is bad because it has really bad falloff (not in range, lose damage bonus) and tracking (worse hits = less dps). its fine if you are shooting a cruiser or something though and can orbit close enough, but you will be caught with your pants down if you suddenly need to start killing drones and cant track them.
I reserve hail for situations like this: as I'm *warping* in to a fight "FC: hes deagressed! melt him fast guys!" other than that its usually not useful.

I have a couple of Hurricane Hulls in hanger and am just waiting for medium autocannon V to complete then up to lvl IV for medium autocannon specialization before I take them out as I already have the guns bought.
Not sure I will be able to fit the medium shield extender, but will check it out. Do you think the GyroII makes up for the loss of DPS in going down to 150's?
Maybe I should fit a couple of artillery Ruptures?

the loss of dps from going 200->150 when you dont have a web is mostly in EFT due to how much better 150's tracking is. I always prefer 150s in frig vs frig fights. also 200mm wont fit on that shield fit (but I wouldnt fit them if I could) :P

AC ruppies are nicer :) they can do serious hurt (taken down dumb BCs in them). their problem is agility. with 1600 plates its hard to get away from smart enemies (doubt your enemies are that smart though :P)

On a serious note, if you're in a one man corp and have a wardec ride that to the bank. Particularly if you're flying Rifters. Just choose your targets and fights well, and gtfo if you're outgunned. Simple as.

I lost my Rifter to a wolf that I engaged. I went to their system and did some hunting. Took him by surprise. Got surpsingly close to winning that engagement. Oh well.
Have one corp that has war dec'd FFCCP and is in effect. Another one is pending on FFCCP.
Three pending war dec's on Crescent Industries. Plus perhaps the one linked above. lol
It's nice when the tables are turned on the bullies.

so you call getting to armor on an armor tank close well i guess if you are inexperienced then yes it is but you did not get half way through the armor so close is a little bit of a stretch and i war dec'd not for smack talk but for hiding from me after stealing and then telling me that you could win. now i am glad i did. this right here proves who went crying and for anyone who relys on battleclinics board you are a fool the info is crap at best. I hope to be seeing those of you who dec'd me in the battles yet to come.

I have a couple of Hurricane Hulls in hanger and am just waiting for medium autocannon V to complete then up to lvl IV for medium autocannon specialization before I take them out as I already have the guns bought.
Not sure I will be able to fit the medium shield extender, but will check it out. Do you think the GyroII makes up for the loss of DPS in going down to 150's?
Maybe I should fit a couple of artillery Ruptures?

Don't forget to have your clone close to the action just in case. I don't know how deep your pockets are, but a bit of Republic fleet ammo isn't too expensive, especially if your using artillery. There isn't a lot in it between 200mm's or 150's in the 'real' world, but a lot of people prefer 150's because they are more versatile. Also, since it's empire wars, have you got any hardwirings? Once again not too expensive for a bit of extra damage/tracking/speed/agility, and pretty safe as long as you are spamming warp on the overview from before your ship actually goes pop until your pod warps out.

Things are on a bit of a hold. As I alluded to earlier, I had to petition my war dec to CCP now I have it straightened out, I should be active on my war dec with Crescent industries on the 17th. It makes it hard right now because they park one FFCCP pilot and have 2-3 Crescent guys remote repping him. So will be nice to go in on a fleet and primary the ship we want without having to wait for aggro.
Things will be getting interesting come Thursday.

No problem, FFCCP member in an Inty caught me in my salvage ship. All's fair.
Here's the rub, a player, we'll call him Den'orm - because that's his toon's name was a member of Crescent Industries who left their Corp today. Today being the day the war come into effect on Crescent Industries.
All along FFCCP has claimed to varying success, that Crescent Industries is not an Alt Corp of FFCCP.
So while I was waiting for my gunless ship to be killed, Gan'orm target locks me and was plainly there to help the FFCCP member (not that any help was needed here as I was defenceless).
So in conclusion, FFCCP and Crescent Industries can now officially be referred to as the same corp. As well, these corps support cowards leaving their Corp during a War Dec to an NPC Corp.
If an honourable Pirate should see this cowardly scoundrel in space, please do all of EVE a favour and pod him mercilessley.
Now, that nasty business is done, the war is on starting tonight. We shall see where this goes but I for one am looking forward to it.

Me. I have made about 80 - 90 million in salvage during this war and this is my first non-combat ship loss.
And no, he just had me target locked cause he liked the look of my ship. He also salvaged my wreck, but yeah, you are right - you barely know him.
Personally, I'd be embarrassed to be associated with him, but whatever.
No hard feelings on the ship or pod, it is war after all.

Well as an update, I had so much fun fighting with Raptus Regularis I joined them so I am no longer a one man corp and have some good friends to pew pew with.
As Tokyo said, they are off in CVA space or left corp or are not logging in so I think I can say that we definitely didn't lose the war and there may be a surprise or two left yet. :)

Well it wouldn't feel right letting this thread die without one last update..
FFCCP has gone from 12 members to 8. I think they are all alts though. The primary people we pew pew'd with are all gone. Joined an 0.0 alliance that I think is related to CVA. Anyways, that war, while still active is dead.
Crescent Industries has likewise been scattered to the wind. It had over 20 members and is now down to 11 of which I think the majority are alts.
Both Corps are effectively dead in the water.
Moral of the story?
I dunno.. Don't war dec a guy who steals your ore?
Or, maybe Decing a one-man corp isn't going to be such the wtfpwn you thought it was going to be?

Thanks to everyone for the help and fun, I obviously couldn't have done it on my own.
In all this I have found a great corp, Raptus Regularis, (although they keep asking me for naked pictures of my arse for some reason..) meh
