What the hell, this is the third mission I got today from my quality 42 Level III agent!!!
I have Connections and Negoitations IV.
I have a 4.69 corp standing with this particular corp and a 5.86 agent standing.
I'm going a mission right now that has 5x 8k pirates and 1x 12k pirate!!!
WTH...I don't get it.

Complete them with a frigate or Interceptor. You can get through the mission quicker, than with a large ship, and it adds a slight challenge.

hmmmm keep hearing this suggestion offered in relation to the lvl3 agents/ lack of challenge.
not saying its bad advice or wrong.... just the concept of cripling myself to make a game MORE exciting just dosnt seem right.
i cannot recall a single game were i have not used the "mega Axe of death" and instead decided to use a ****ty stick i picked up off a newb...just for the added excitement.
i want to be as big and powefull as i possible can and STILL find that im not big and bad enuf for what the game has to offer.
at the moment there isnt a single mission or npc spawn/ship to challenge the seasond solo pilot AT ALL, with out that pilot purposley making it hard for themselves, which really is a bit backwards.
whats needed is far far more content to really challenge the solo player. never to this day have i ever found a NPC spawn and said to myself that its too much to handle. the ONLY time i have been beaten by a NPC spawn is becasue I made all the errors and not due the superiority of the NPCs.
Ranny.....
PS. to save the need for everyone else to tell us what we allready been told a billions times, all this lovlness is coming with Shiva....yes yes we heard it allready....
PPS. i am totaly aware of what PVP is... i am a Marshal...... so please dont feel the need to try and tell me what it is and it dosnt really have any bearing on this current topic.

TBH, I dont consider moving from my Apoc to my Inty "crippling." I agree though, level 3 missions are far too easy for a battleship, but I also recall those same games where you try to kill very strong creatures with the weakest weapon possible ( I remember those challanges :p)
I really like my rupture, but I dont find it an improvement to use it over my rifter, or viceversa. To each his own I guess. ~~ Hyey
I just payed 15 dollars this month just to be able to respond on the forums... stupid cancellation error.

When i get those kind of kill missions, I usually thank my luck stars I'm making 150-200k for completing the missions.
However, I did recieve a lvl 3 mission where i had to destroy 3 2k pirates guarding a flotsam; I was kinda insulted.
I think the lvl 4 agents and 'dungeons'/'complexes' might be a bit of a challenge though. Glamour Bunnies Entertainment Corporation

all ships have there strong point, it's not a matter of what your strongest in.
it's a matter of being able to complete a task generated by a program.
the biggest mistake here is stating that your a mission runner only using one ship.
I think we all agree here that there is no one uber ship that is capable of tackling all situations well.
The agents just give you a random task, you either complete it or don't.......nothing more nothing less.
You get rewarded for that no matter how big or how small.
I think most of us would agree that a good pilot is not one that just flys in his BS but one that judges the pending up and coming situations, use a bit of grey matter between his/her own ears, come up with a game plan, select a ship and exicute.
personally, these chronic posts of waaaa i'm in this situation in the ship i want to be in and it sucks with my current set up so fix it CCP.
and i say this as i accept the sabotaged mission and look into my hanger of bestower, raven, apoc, geddon, maller, moa, caracal, crow, crusader and decide i should attempt it with a shield tanked bestower with one small laser.

ah well....down here in the less educated seats..we call this common sence. being that we not to wizzy with the old grey matter, we try and keep it simple.
is it a lot of stuffages to move = Hauler is it a little bit of stuffages to move = Ceptor EVERYTHING ELSE = BS
Ok its not an opener for a Thesis on SpaceShip Command....but my agents seems to just love the way i work. hence the extreamly high standings and buckets loads of isk they sends my way.
a propley kitted mission BS is going to be faster and stronger than any cruiser, the ONLY result of this is that it takes LESS time to finish a mission. the fast you can do the missions, the more you will be able to fit into anyone session. more missions = more isk and more standings.
the concept of purposley making life hard is alien to me.... this whould be akin to painting a room..but selecting the smallet brush in the box....WHY ?
