You make a good point. You can trust what the client is telling you, however, because it doesn't seem to animate anything that hasn't been cleared by the server first. If it did, my pod wouldn't sit around while I had been spamming warp for 3 seconds. I'd find myself AUs away, completely unaware of the fact that the server was still under the impression that I was being locked.

Not very good let me assure you. The only thing that looks good is an abbreviation. And BF doesn't count, because nobody knows what it is.
Confirming that lag is a "bug" that ccp is just too lazy to fix and that 3-d graphics are designed by the same people who deal with the server latency/function.
To the OP, get a better internet connection. Or a better computer. Or both. Problem solved.

OP is dumb.
There has always been lag in video games, there will always be, whatever game you play with whatever connection you have. Be glad the server can handle 40 000 people at the same time and be glad that you can fight 100 vs 100 without that much lag compared to a lot of game that try to do that. Whinning for the sake of whinning. You didnt even lost a thing. Just PVP without implants and there you go, you can get podded infinetly without any consequence.
Go to sleep now. Under your bridge or something.

I agree with that too.
Adapt. I vowed never to buy a particular ship again if I lost one of them due to a bug.
But I've adapted. I vowed never to buy an Ishtar again because a bug got it Concorded. Now I have figured out what that bug is, AND the bug report came back as "non repeatable", I just keep on repeating that bug and taking their stuff UNTIL I've killed an Ishtar with it, at which point I am going to put Ishtars back on my shopping list. And I'll probably continue repeating the non repeatable bug too.
The irony is, the bug repeating team probably have one of those "no lag" internet connections which might explain why they can't repeat it.

I have been playing online games for around 12 yrs now and there has always been lag and descync of some kind in all of them at some point... welcome to online gaming.

Contrary to the scenario I describe, that would be your own fault. When you enter your pod, you initiate the 30 second session change and cannot board ships, dock or jump through gates for the duration.
Nice theory. Sometime you can jump thru, happened to me running back to a gate, ships pop as it reaches jump range and pod jumps instantly. Bugs works both way (no I didn't petition not losing my pod  )

That money is gone - you'll never get it back.
So its a MOOT point to even bring it up - as someone pointed out all you've done is make yourself a definite PRIMARY to the griefing, tears loving community that is 99.2% of Eve.
Note : Statistics may not be based on actual figures.
As for lag.... Well.... all you can say is its never gone away. Not like its suddenly arrived or something, dorks.
