You're obviously a fairly well educated chap, but I would point to the futility of alt posting complaints on the forum if you actually want to achieve something like you're suggesting. Does moaning about Goonswarm on the forum actually achieve anything? (No). Regarding high end moons, you're correct, and CCP will hopefully address this when they tackle the Sov mechanics (this winter). Interestingly enough though, a reason I grudgingly admire Goonswarm is that their leadership aren't adverse to 'malicously' fecking up the game for CCP to expose the flaws just to make a point. I'm personally hoping their leadership might completely stop the flow of high end minerals to market just to bugger up the eve economy and show up alchemy for what it really is. I live in hope but I'm pretty sure they have been sucked into wanting to "win" Eve too much now to try such a thing. Anyway, no idea why I'm replying, I really should stop waffling on and go to bed. <Insert Goon meme here, ta la>

HankMurphy Minmatar XERCORE Cult of War	Posted - 2009.07.09 03:27:00 - [78] dynamically shifting moons would go a long way. every month or so your moon may 'run out' of its dyspro and another moon may suddenly reveal a previously unseen cache of dyspro to a prober. why would this be good (or any different)? well you would shift the moon dynamic away from the squat and defend to something you actively have to pursue. sure, the bigger groups should have the same advantage to grab the resources, but a 200 man alliance wouldn't need to stand toe to toe vs the 2000 man alliance to down his POS and take the moon. they would just need to be vigilent in searching for the resources and when found stfu and try to defend it while it lasts. also, 2 people that are naped and live close together might suddenly turn on each other when one finds out their prom moon disappeared and now their 'friend' has it 2 systems over ---------- Hey, sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I'd never know 'cause I wouldn't eat the filthy mother*****r

Fara'a Caldari	Posted - 2009.07.09 10:39:00 - [82] When i first even heard about the goonswarm, it was really a nice change in the game. t1 frigs, attacking in swarms, nice little stack of ammo flying towards your ship, and pew! soon enough battlecruisers began to fall down. than battleships, and very soon all the others. at the time i was living my comfort life, carebearing (love the sound of ore breaking, what can i say) under the mighty cloak of BoB, and even though i've spoke and flew with only few of them, i had and still have nothing but the outmost respect for the guys/girls involved. When the tides changed, and allmost every trigger happy pilot wanted to take a shot at Bob, i've docked my barge(s), switched to my tanker alt, slipped in to whatever ship needed, and flew alongside any raiding or defending fleet i was called upon. What i've learned was very simple, no goonfleet or any other fleet for that matter, was ever a match for allmost allways outnumbered BoB or BoB 'pet' as you like to call them, fleet. Never. Not talking only about the final outcome of the fights, but the mere experiance, the silence of the teamspeak with only the gang leader(s) speaking, the disciplin in formations, tactics, skills.. That is just my point of view, from where i once stud, and i know there were alot of great pilots and fleets aswell. The stories of the first titan born, first one lost, first dd triggered.. Those memories i'll never forget, and that's what makes this experience that much bigger than all the others. Be that goons, BoB, or any other group of ppl, reaching towards the same ideas and goals, is and will allways be a part of the EvE we all hate and love so much. Don't know what the hell you're smoking but post-49DP and up until Delve War I, GS+RA consistently and soundly defeated kenny+GKC in every major engagement until the burnout kicked in, after GS had already taken several Delve systems. In the late 2008 re-engagement with GS versus Kenny+AAA, the Kenny portions seemed to always do nothing but drag AAA down; the Kenny fleet doctrine was still stuck in 2006, their fits were bad so they copied AAA+GS fits instead, and when Kenny metagamed to reset sov to 1 in a system, GS kicked them out because unlike Kenny circa two months later, they didn't dock the **** up and apply ~patience~.

And thus I may be far off here) no one was ever able to forcefully kick BOB's *** out of Delve right? So... that being said, all those players are still playing this game, delve is still there, and this is far from the end of the story. What I don't understand is why there hasn't been a major multi-alliance push for delve to see if the Goons can really do what BOB once did. I mean think about . . . Is everyone assuming Delve can't be taken cause no one could figure out how to do it be before? It has new landlords now, it will have new landlords again.
