So I have read about all sorts of devices that will jam some ones warp all up. What I cant find is something to prevent mine from being jammed. Can some one tell me where to look. Thanks

I'd use some Mega Pulse Laser IIs with Amarr Navy Multifrequency L charges.
Or Warp Core Stabalizers, but don't plan on locking anything.

You'd fit "stabs". Inertial Stabilizer II's are best. :) :)

Confirming these are the best way.

You could use ECM to remove the locking ability of your enemy, thus his warp scrambler.
I generally prefer killing them though *** Currently Playing: Trolls from Outer Space Current Equipment: VISAcard chain mail, +2 Amulet of Epic Whine, Self Banstick +2 WTB: +666 E-peen killboard stats |

Edited by: Ancy Denaries on 08/07/2009 09:43:49 God, these forums really are full of morons.
There are several ways of avoiding getting warp scrambled.
1. Don't get scrambled in the first place. Simply don't be in a situation where the enemy can put a point on you.
2. Fit inertia stabilizers and nanofibers This is for running blockades (gatecamps). You make your ship align so fast that noone has time to lock it up. Only works on frigates and some cruisers (or if the gatecampers are asleep)
3. Fit warp core stabilizers Also for runnning blockades. A WCS will neutralize ONE point of warp scrambling. So 1 Warp disruptor worth of scram per WCS. If someone gets a Warp SCRAMBLER on you (2 points) you need 2 WCS to get out of that one.
WCS will also hack your locking range in half and double your locking time, so it will take you a week and a half to lock something.
WCS will also make people laugh their asses off if they ever kill you and see the killmail. Simply put, WCS are for travelling, not combat.
4. If you are actually in a PvP fit, kill your enemy. Easiest way. Blow the guy that's scrambling you up.
5. Get out of range. Unless it's an Arazu, the max range of a warp disruptor is 24 km (T2) and 9 km for a Scrambler. Get out of that range and you're golden. ----- Why doesn't anyone ever read the forums before posting? EVE is a game of adaptation and planning. Adapt or die. |

Nobody loves the Lachesis. It is a sad panda.
(Protip: Lachesis might not kill you, but it's exceptionally good at holding you in place so others can do just that. It's also ugly as sin and mad about it.)

Anti warp jammers are:
-gang mates -speed to get out of warprange (web helps to gain speed superiority ie scrambler) -gate/station agression countdown -also get a fast ship that can approach back to gate

i even took the WCS off my Crane, i-Stabs! and a Covert ops cloak. with how quickly it aligns and the fact i am only visible for the split second between gate cloak and my cloak.
the odds are gating in with in auto decloak range of something seem slim since its a random spot 15km from the gate.

Usually... Some careful campers equip warp bubbles at gates with lots of cans and any garbage they can get hands on. It took me about 5 minutes in a rapier to get to the gate in one of those without being de-cloaked...

Just fyi you can petition those. Spamming cans on a bubble is considered an exploit, although wrecks and corpses are not.

haha Evil, but innovative.
i guess that is why if the product is of great value even a Crane should come with a scout.

Best way to prevent someone from warp scrambling you is to blow them up.

I can hear you now...
Damn, here comes Marcus... he's always referring to the Chronicles, as if CCP ever proof reads those things to make sure things described are possible in game too.
EVE Chronicles: Loser
Quote: ... But before he could finish selecting a destination for his warp he noticed that the Caldari had scrambled him, preventing him from entering warp... In the meantime Victor activated his anti-scrambling unit - due to the strength of the Caldari scrambler it would take a full minute to de-scramble the warp drive.
I've often wondered why we don't have an active WCS as well. Sure, it'd probably take a while. I imagine every cycle would add +1 to warp strength, until you overpowered whatever was scrambling you.
And the opponent would be all the more encouraged to just kill you and be done with it. But how is that any different than a pirate scanning you and seeing ECM fitted? |

Edited by: Viktor Fyretracker on 09/07/2009 03:17:45 i think this is why they dont have active WCS is ECM.
however they could put them in and give certain ships a bonus for using them and make them take 100k CPU(like strip miners and Covert Ops cloaks), this way they could even come up with a reason. like industrial ship warp cores where designed to be boosted by an outside source and combat ships risk an overload if using the module. though i can only imagine the anger a DST could generate with +10 warp power built up lol.
