You know the drill. It is CCP, so plan for the worst because it's not uncommon that patch day may turn into patch DAYS where you can't log into the game to queue up your skills.
I'm setting the following on 3 accounts:
Acceleration Control V - 12 days 13 hours
Electronic Warfare V - 6 days
Caldari Frigate V - 5 days 21 hours
I may be playing it close with Caldari Frigate V....
So pod pilots, what long skill are you going with? |

It is true that CCP hasn't recently had the issue where the servers were offline for more than 24 hours, but on a recent expansion a friend of mine was the victim of having a hardware / vdfx card combination that didn't play nicely with the game and it took days to get that sorted out and his character would have gone without having a skill trained if he hadn't come over and logged into his account on my PC (reminds me, install key logger for next time that happens...jk of course, I'm not a goon). |

why do these threads come out every patch?
since exodus patch in 04 ive not not been able to get into game to swap skills the same day as patch.
ok in the early days patch time was really buggy, and could take a good few hours to come online, but dont forget, they had 7guys or somethin back then, and they even managed to get it runnin enough to swap skills.
just have a skill that will see ya through to at most 22.00 eve tonight and you will be more than covered, and with skill queue now days, even less reason for all this nonsense
