Did you just make a stereotypical comment at all the Gallente Militia?
Last time I looked, a small band of dedicated player were trying their upmost best to keep it going.
Caldari, Pirates and the odd Amaar here and there are just too much for the Gallente to handle.
Spies like "WuffWuff MeowMeow" are just crushing all efforts to retake plexes because of blobs entering the space and killing us.
Its BS. And your a ******.

Originally by: iudex Edited by: iudex on 12/07/2009 14:02:02 The truth is: it's pretty much over. Gallente make like 3-4 fleets a week, they go out for an hour or two and then quickly run back to Gallente space, because they know there's a big blob growing somewhere, that might come after them. You don't find many of them in lowsec anymore, their morale is broken, their ships are destroyed, and they have no isk left or the will to fight. Their resistance has been futile, and in the last weeks they are constantly harassed in their highsec. It's the smallest militia now, not many left, the big majority are inactive alts.
Are we playing the same game here? The only place I see more Caldari than Gallente in lowsec is Old Man Star. What you may be confusing it with, is the fact that fewer people are basing out of Villore now, because of the static camp in Old Man Star. If you sit in one place long enough, with a massive fleet, you shouldn't be too surprised that the stream of targets dries up.
As for running from fleets bigger than the ones we put together? Too true, mate. Only an idiot would put themselves in a no-win situation. Of course, the Caldari never, ever do this themselves. They always fight, no matter how outnumbered.
It is true that we are the smallest militia now, but this is less to do with morale being broken, and more to do with people defecting to the Minmatar because there seems to be more PvP in that part of space, whereas the Caldari seem to sit in one of two systems lazily waiting for the targets to come to them. Of course, this doesn't apply to all Caldari, but it certainly seems to apply to people like yourself.
Also, you are likely to be fighting pirates more often, because combined, the pirates in lowsec way outnumber the militia in lowsec.
If you want to believe that we're beaten, then go ahead. I can't change your mind. However, if you truly believed that the job was done, you would be leaving the Caldari militia, as the job was done. As it stands, we'll continue racking up roughly the same number of kills against a militia twice our size.

Unlike in my experiences with Amarr/Matar front, both Cal/Gal militias are full of "Plexing = pve and if you do it, thou shall be branded as eternal carebear" loudmouths. So congratulations (you know who you are), you are making it possible for Gallente to stage a comeback because you have nothing better to do than lure people to Tama/Nourv gate to pad WOLFY/BYDI killboard.

Says the man who is using every exploit in the book to capture those plexes. You're in a militia that outnumbers us 2 to 1, you don't have to contend with ECM in plexes, and you already control the whole of the FW area, and you still need to use the exploits. Just shows how flawed the plexing system is.

The job is done, and we have some very dedicated people (e.g. PERVS) who ensure that it remains done. Instead of leaving i take advantage of the Caldari "air sovereignty" over Black Rise and do missions. I raked up half a million militia LP within the last weeks, without having one single war target in my mission spot. Pirates came quite often, also friendly militia members, but no one from Gallente. My agent send me all over Black Rise and the neighbour regions, so I'm not sitting in one system and have a wrong picture. I'm travelling a lot and hardly see any war targets in systems. Made many several hundred jumps in the last week with my cerbe, and there were like 3-4 occasions where i met some WT at gates, there are hardly any outside Tama.
You are a little more active on weekends, but in general there's not much activity left. Compared to the first months, where like every system had some WT, roaming gangs were frequent and large fleet-fights with 100+ people happened on a daily basis, today Gallente are ... pretty dead.

Gallente has plexers but system does not seem to flip soon.
Latest dev blog did not give any good reason to plex or capture systems so i think this war is quite much over soon, and people start to grind lp. Grinding lp efficiently do mean that pvp ends and all live in peace and farm lp/isk.
I like this kind of twisted logic. Stay in highsec, and you're a carebear. Stay in lowsec, and you're 'hiding'. Speaking of hiding, have you actually left OMS/Ladistier since you captured all the systems?
We're all going to live in peace while we grind LP? Explain how? I thought the point was to promote PvP, not end it. Or is it just the fact that you don't like the sound of getting minimal LPs from the current Perv/BNC policy of camp and gank in mass numbers, whereas others will earn them at a faster rate because they can fight outside their comfort zone? Or is it because you can't earn any LP from plexes, because you already own it all?
No matter which way you put it, it sounds like sour grapes.

I'll happily admit that there's not that many Gallente in lowsec, but it's still more of a presence than the Caldari. Outside of OMS, I see very, very few. And even fewer solo.

Nice try. We know this is a lie since FW missions don't send you (a Caldari) into your own sovereign space (Black Rise).
Funny thing is I see more Gallente in Black Rise (see Nennamaila) than Caldari. With the exception of one corp (Pervs) and very few individuals, they're too scared to step out of the pipe. Again, nice try. Try a real FW mission some time.

There's stuff to be done nightly. I've been active ~2 months in FW on the Caldari side.
Lot's of good fun most nights. I have done a few missions (boring). Mainly get into small fleets and roam looking for a fight. Lately, I've been helping with the defensive plexing, which is OK. I had a nice fight with a Tristan & Cheetah at a plex in my Griffin, was was actually winning until their friends in a BB & Throax showed up. ;) http://killboard.caldarimilitia.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=127880
Learning a lot about proper fitting and fleet operations, both the right way and clear examples of the wrong way. Black Nova is now in Caldari and the few the fly with us usually have good tips to share. I do miss Gavin FCing us through Gal high-sec to gank people with Local full of W-T-F!! convo.
The Gal people are good opponents. Skilled for the most part and respectful. Much more of 'gf' in chat rather than trash talking. The WOLFY, Microfunks, Quantum Cats, Ghost Busters, and KIcking & Screaming guys are all respectful opponents. But all of Caldari militia rejoices when Loren Gallen goes down. That guy is damn good.
Lots of blob ganking of solo pilots and blob on blob "no, you jump into us" stalemates.
The pirate element is interesting. I've learned to respect the BYDI guys. They run a tight fleet and most random blob miltia fleets can't stand against them.
Hopefully the LP changes will bring more people into the mix, but as is, I still enjoy it.
Give it a try.

Lol how about using your brain before calling someone a liar ? I said they send me all around Black Rise and the neighbour regions. The missions themselves are in Gallente regions (Placid, Essence etc.) but still i have to travel through Black Rise on the way to the mission and on the way back to the agent.
However, if you want proof, here it is: Screenshot My militia LP amount is shown in the 3rd line, and if you look up who Montilen Jonota is, you'll know who lies here about "real FW missions" and who not.

Where's the mission taking place? Not in Black Rise.
I apologize for your mistake. You're wandering all over Gallente space, not Black Rise. :p
And therefore you should come clean and admit there are many more Gallente FW players inhabiting Black Rise than Caldari.

You're a funny guy. The only thing that i should admit, is that i'm doing something stupid by trying to explain something to someone who is either not capable of or not willing to understand it. Already told you above, you have to travel a lot thru Black Rise to get from the agent to the mission system and back to the agent. If i start from my Innia agent for example and the mission is in Old Man Star, i have to do around 10 jumps, only the last 3 are in the Gallente region, the rest is in Black Rise. I'm sorry if you fail to understand this.

Almost the same thing here, the majority of jumps I've been making for FW missions are in Caldari low sec as well. The only difference is that I saw a bunch of Gallente FW pilots in Black Rise especially in the Nennamaila region and only four Caldari in the 24 low sec jumps I made today - two in Tama, one somewhere else in Black Rise, and Damar's plexing alt doing his magic in Intaki.
Thank goodness the Pervs have secured Black Rise (and Placid, and Tama) for me too so that I can run my Gallente FW missions in peace!

Gallente are very happy that they will be getting LP for kills. They are even more happy that the Caldari have lots and lots of high ranking plexers who give more LP when killed. Damar will be very popular with Gallente Locator Agents.

You mean to say "it's only serious when you are doing it. When we are doing it, we are looking for a good pvp fight and all that, not to conquer systems or anything like that and thats why you cannot accuse me or gallentes for carebearing, unlike you Caldari N00bs".
Also, you still lost a Crusader in that fight, ship that cost nearly 3 times as my lone caracal and does not give good insurance
I happily answer questions about our NPCs since they are still too tough for you and thus you need to whine to CCP about them. Exploit more, perhaps you can succeed that way.

Some usefull information here, but where do I go to get into one of these FW corps? im nearly at the standing to get into the NPC corp (current gallente standing is .47) I have been grinding a few missions for the sisters of eve, can anyone recommend a better agent to get the level up faster?
I also tried an epic arc, and apart from getting scrammed and loosing a frig it diddent seem to help me standing at all.... what a waste!
if anyone wants to take a noobie (this char is new i have been playing for a while) under their wing and into battle can you evemail me in game??

These new rewards look pretty cool. Question though, how badly will FW tank your general standings, particularly once you leave FW? I think doing some would be fun, but I don't want the hassle of having to grind up all my standings from some super-painful level just so I'm not shoot on site after I leave to do something different.

Three things you can do, one of which may not work as I'm not sure if FW uses Raw Standings or not.
- Mission for ANY Gallente Level 1 Agent. 16 Missions will get you a Storyline which should be enough to pull you over the 0.5 Requirement. (SOE works as well, but the Gallente Standings Gain is smaller that way)
- Train Connections to 1 (This will raise your Effective Standings above the Requirement, however, if FW uses Raw Standings this may not be enough.)
- There are Agents at the Data Centres which accept Criminal Tags in return for a Faction Standing Boost. Can't remember off hand which system it is, but the Agent you'll be looking for is the Lowest Quality one in Space there (Q1,-20 I believe), I believe it may be 10 or 20 Serpentis Copper/Brass Tags you need for thie Mission he'll send you on so better to get a hold of those first. Someone who's actually done the Datacentre Agents will be able to confirm this though. Each Agent there can only be used once though. ---------------
