Not sure if this is the right thread, I already posted to the other one but maybe CCP needs to see it twice.
Dafawk? What's wrong with you ppl? Why did you change the Items and Hangar windows? They were just fine!
How can I see the content of my ship's cargo and station items + other content from containers or other ship's cargo holds, ALL at the same time?
What if I like to keep my items organized in containers and I need to move items from one cargo to another? What if I have different size windows and positions for ship's cargo holds and containers? Do I have to set them up every time I open them or every time I jump/undock?
This Inventory crap does not help. ROLL IT BACK! Velator vs Tornado https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=62323 Velator vs Oracle https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=109741 |

Immortis Vexx wrote:To those of you who are just finding out about the unified inventory. This feature has been live on the test server for weeks now. In addition to that it has been announced on the forums for even longer. It is completely ridiculous of you to be so angry/upset over a feature that you should have known was coming. Note that I am *NOT* talking about those of you who are having problems with it, just those that didn't bother to give feedback or test it.
Regarding the release problems, I understand that it is frustrating to not have all the things working 100% but please name an expansion that has been bug free? Name one from any MMO that has been bug free? They don't exist! NO one does it 100% right, not Blizzard, Bioware, Sony, etc. It sucks, and I really want everything to work right but this kind of project is not a science, its an art. Chill out, give them time, and continue the feedback. In the meantime, work with what ya got.
Part of the problem is that we do not have enough people testing on the test server. I myself am just as guilty of this as anyone. Some problems only present themselves under certain conditions and having just 100 people on a test server doesn't give the variety of situations necessary to expose bugs. Lets all commit to being on the test server more so that we can help CCP work toward smoother releases in the future.

Not every player reads forum and checks new features on Sisi, aren't they allowed to express their opinions post-expansion? I think they still pay2play. Judging by you killboard record and your age in game, I can tell that you have close to NONE experience in PVP and industry, manufacturing, inventions, POS's and about any other aspect of the game besides rating in null sec, but I will give you an insight.
Most of the times in any of the above activities you have to manage MULTIPLE windows and when it comes to PVP, time of of the essence. It is not as easy as you think, it is not only "one extra click", but multiple extra clicks over and over again and browsing through that tree inventory window every time you want to do whatever. It might not seem too complicated for you, but for someone that does more than ratting and managing a couple of ships IT IS.
Thank you and now pls GTFO! Velator vs Tornado https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=62323 Velator vs Oracle https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=109741 |

Thank you and now pls GTFO! just because i have a 2010 character doesnt mean that i dont have knowledge about game mechanics, so before you make snap judgements why dont you keep your mouth shut before someone shuts it for you... and as for the inventory problem.. hte more people that blow up the forums the more CCP isnt going to read each individual post because they all say the same thing, so they are just going to skim through them, which directs attention away from other issues that also need to be adressed, and sure maybe the invetnory system didnt need to be changed, but people have been able to check it out for a while now and yet next to noone has had a problem with it until today? Rolling it back would take a large amount of work considering the fact that if they did it would most likely cause even more problems with other features of the game. so unless you want to experience more problems than get solved stop blowing up the forums about the bloody unified inventory...
This post of yours only confirms my initial supposition. You are an idiot! First of all if you want to shut my mouth, PLEASE DO COME! Nothing will make me happier than seeing you on my door step. Second, you actually contradict your initial post and now admit that there are more ppl complaining about it, not just me. Third, you obviously are talking without knowing the situation. On Sisi there was A LOT (I would say almost totally) negative feedback on this feature.
Can you pls GTFO now? Ok, thank you! Velator vs Tornado https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=62323 Velator vs Oracle https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=109741 |

CCP pls answer this ONE QUESTION!
Why did you "stayed the course" with the crappy Inventory Feature after all the negative feedback from Sisi? Velator vs Tornado https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=62323 Velator vs Oracle https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=109741 |

Issue 4 (the est price): We canGÇÖt guarantee that every piece of the UI fits your exact usecase. Information like this will continue to be available globally. By this logic every single piece of EVE should have an off button, which we won't do. There are reasons why several folks are flagging down "wasted space/screen real-estate" in the numerous scattered posts. Not everyone displays & arrange their (static/non-static) window in uniform sizes, depending on function it can go right down to the absolute minimum size you can reduce it. Now, try and reduce, for example, your ship's cargo window to the absolute minimum possible. It's barely usable now (compared to pre-patch). For those that run multiple windows in various sizes, the annoyance over lost screen space will build up over time. In general, people don't generally appreciate other people ramming things down their way, especially when reasoning/design/implementation are FLAWED. The acid test is simple. When you break critical things, the backlash will be swift and overwhelming. Need I say more? "We canGÇÖt guarantee that every piece of the UI fits your exact usecase" - is a very dismissive antagonistic statement in light of the above. The est. price bar, when you reduce things to absolute BASIC functionality for inventory systems, is purely bling. There is no argument or you'd implement it years ago, regardless of the technical hurdles as a critical piece of functionality. People are flagging this as unecessary bling that degrades screen real-estate, and you almost virtually dismiss them - implying/arguing the est. price bar as an "important feature" that needs to be available in EVERY WINDOW. Who's failing logic here?

Or better yet, remove them! Or at least put some little arrows to hide them and recover the window margin space. Velator vs Tornado https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=62323 Velator vs Oracle https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=109741 |

CCP Guard wrote:Patch notes for today's patch. Some fixes to the Unified Inventory issues people have been running into. I know this doesn't cover everyone's concerns, just posting this in the relevant threads so everyone is aware of the current status.
Unified Inventory
Fixed an issue where the new Unified Inventory would reopen every time a character jumped, docked, undocked or otherwise performed a session change. Inventory window locations that are still accessible between docking and undocking will now remain open. For example a ships Drone Bay, if opened in a separate window. Fixed an issue where players could not edit their Smart Filters. Fixed an issue where Corporation hangars would not load correctly. Attempting to move mixed groups of items into hangar locations that can only accept a specific item type, will now transfer the items allowed.
