If you mean Sisi, then it didn't. They just ignored the QA feedback. GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Ginseng Jita wrote:I don't see an issue with the new system. Rather easy to navigate once you get the hang of it...took all of 1 minute to figure out. GǪnow use it for a couple of hours and run it through a few more complicated tasks where you need to juggle multiple inventories or need to have quick (and consistent) access to different item locations. Ginseng Jita wrote:Works great. What exactly are the problems you are having? Seriously. This newer system is slick and very easy to use. See sig. The new system is far less efficient than the old one and offers a significant reduction in functionality.

I don't see it being all that good for PvP players eitherGǪ I know that in the fights I've been in, I've wanted to have a constant, unchanging, unperturbable view of my cargo hold to constantly monitor cap charges and ammo, even if I accidentally did something as ill-advised and insane as, say, look in a wreck for more cap charges (or just plain old loot) and to have a clearer view of what drones I still had available than the tiny list the drone window provides.
But then, I'm really silly that way.
GǪalso, back in those days, I tended to have stacks of ready-made, pre-built, pre-assembled ships for quick returns (or re-equipping) to the fight. These days, I only ever have maybe 10-15 ships in my hangar at any one time and they already become cumbersome to scroll between.
Lustralis wrote:Once you get used to it it'll be a real productivity boost. No more window hell! No, actually, it's more windows hell than before since you can no longer set up a simple workspace. There was no window hell before, tbh, if you just set up those windows correctly. Now you can no longer do that, so suddenly the windows hell appears far stronger than before. Alrione wrote:I dont see any problems. See sig. The short and sweet of it is: try setting up a consistent and permanent workspace that functions for all your inventory-related use cases.
Quote:If anything Im quite happy about reducing the clusterfuck of windows in eve. What clusterfuck? I could do everything I ever needed to do using two stacks of permanent windows, one stack of non-permanent windows, and one stack of context sensitive windows. They took up minimal space and gave maximum overview with zero clicking required.
The new system is a clusterfuck since you can no longer reliably reuse windows and have to keep opening new ones when you need them rather than have them appear automatically depending on context. The new system is a clusterfuck because it assumes all inventories are equal, and doesn't allow for any persistent customisation depending on inventory function and use. The new system is a clusterfuck because it doesn't handle things like POSes or large ship hangars in any kind of remotely sane way.
The new system drastically reduces the efficiency and ease with which inventory can be managed GÇö it fundamentally fails at the one thing it's supposed to be good at. It adds a couple of nice features and it solves one problem, but it does so at the cost of a fuckton of functionality that came for free with the old system and it has no way of replicating that functionality. GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Lustralis wrote:Seriously, you'll get used to it. No.
You get used to things that are consistent and which let you work without any fuss. You do not get used to things that are inherently incapable of being consistent and which are inherently inefficient.
The new UI falls into the latter category, and it needs to be fixed so it works as an inventory management system. GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥
