Hi, could you have a look at the bellow set up for a rupture and tell me if its ok? It will be my first real combat/pvp ships as most of my skills are in industy and therefor will be my first pvp experience. It will be used for a small gang (6-12 players)
I want to keep to T1 stuff for now as I will most likely loose the ship a few times (and also I dont have the correct skills for T2)
[Rupture, Cheap Rupture PvP] Damage Control II Gyrostabilizer I Energized Reactive Membrane I Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane I 1600mm Reinforced Steel Plates I
Warp Disruptor I Stasis Webifier I 10MN MicroWarpdrive I

loooks good bud. as long as you have some smaller ships tackling. if ya dont i maybe reccomend ditching the webifier and putting a sensor booster w/ scan res script on but overall A+ from me

It looks decent. I would suggest flying t1 fit frigates for awhile if you have never pvp'd before unless the gang really needs more dps.
With regard to the fit: 1) Use warriors instead of acolytes. 2) Use cheap meta mods to improve effectiveness. (specifically - web, gyro, plate, point) 3) Consider dropping the nos and neut and fitting standard missile launchers to get more dps - the small nos and neut aren't going to do much for you, especially in a decent sized gang. 4) Consider dropping the reactive membrane for another gyro. I don't have EFT in front of me, but I imagine the dps bonus is substantial. 5) Depending on gang composition I might fit a scrambler instead of a disruptor.

Edited by: Disteeler on 13/07/2009 20:07:35 Instead of the reactive nano membrane, put another adaptive one or another gyro. Also, I think it's better 2 neutralizers. And last, you can try using ecm drones.

Thanks for the post - wouldn't dropping the reactive nano membrane leave a large gap in my explosive resist? - or is it not a common damage type people use? (thought it would be)
Reason why I didnt go for the launchers is that 1) would be harder to fit 2) more SP 3) I don't really like them (and I like the idea of nos or neuts more)
I have now dropped the nos for another neut, and playing around with the lows - tbh I dont see my self doing a lot of dps with it as my skills are rather low I just want to get out there and have a go at pvp so dps isn't all that important right now (for me).
