The Sacrilege is just plain wrong, it's got lots of shields, and missile slots, but it still has it's armour bonus. Just wierd.

Maybe im reading this wrong but with the Ishtar's bonuses:
Drones 5, Drone Interfacing 5 = 10 drones total
Gallente Cruiser 5 = 10 + 5 = 15 drones total
Heavy Assault 5 = 5 x 500m3 drone space = 2500m3 extra + 2500m3 base = 5000m3 drone space
Thats 20 heavy drones total in hold, 15 allowed in flight.
Also, only 3 turrets means lots of spare CPU/Power and med/low slots for jamming.
Drone boat with jamming like a mofo 
Nasty stuff.

yep this thing will probably pwn every other aussault frig in 1 vs 1, maybe execpt the caracal one, but you will probably have some smartbombs to reduce the caracal damage so that your 15!! ogres or whatever can just pwn the enemy to death
i mean, that beast is a little dominix in perfection, with thoose drone bonus scout drones can go on very very long range, making it very good against other cruisers and frigs (when im not totally wrong with decent skills your drones should be able to go 50km), together with 5 multies you dont want to face that thing alone

Sacrilige has more turrets then missle launchers but has a launcher bonus, it has more shield then armor but has an armor bonus.

I notice that the minmatar and amarr ones have only 10 sensor strength, the gallente have 12, and the caldari have 14, with no apparent drawbacks. This isnt very fair. 
Right now it looks like:
Caldari have good hitpoints, super range, great sensor strength, great CPU, decent powergrid. The only apparent drawbacks are its slightly higher sig radius and lower speed.
Amarr have super cap, good hitpoints, great powergrid.
Gallente have good cap, good hitpoints, good CPU, good powergrid, good sensor strength, good range.
Minmatar have just about sucky everything except for speed and *slightly* lower signature radius, and ok powergrid.
I'm honestly sick of all the good stuff Caldari and Gallente get. It ties in completely with the fact that there are more Caldari than any other race, and Gallente are not far behind.
Maybe if a little extra speed actually mattered... the Vagabond is faster than the others but if it uses a mwd its already low cap goes to hell, while the already uber Diemos is going to wipe the floor.
I'm not even talking about projectiles. Minmatar ships are inferior to the others in every way except speed, and even then, they're only slightly faster than the others, giving no noticeable benefits. They've got poor CPU, capacitor, total hitpoints, sensor strength, and not enough powergrid. They sure dont have the damage potential to make up for all this, either.

Not so good as you might think. It's the cruiser who depend most of it's speed (need to close the range), yet it's the slowest assault ship (even the Sacrilege and Eagle are faster!).
It also has the biggest sig radius.
I made some preliminary calculations, and it appear that if I want to put a 800mm plate without sacrifying any low slots for RCU/PDU, I'm forced to limit my weaponry to 1 Ion and 4 Electrons.
That's still a very good ship, but not overpowered, IMHO.

And the Munin has a tracking bonus. That thing is going to do sick damage with Medium projectiles.
Also, while the Diemos is going to be a killer blaster boat, it has had it's drone bay halved over what the Thorax had. It is much more specialized at blaster combat than the Thorax, but more limited to blaster deployment as well.
