AFAIK you can make the bridge to a normal cyno, but the restrictions on what can jump through still apply.

I've always thought that whilst you can jump a black ops to a normal cyno, you can't actually bridge to them.
I'd be happy to be wrong though.

Could someone clarify this please .
Can a blackops open bridge to a normal cyno , produced by a cheap alt with cheap skills. And send other covops ships through the portal ?
Or does the alt has to have cynosural field etc lvl5 and a covops ship to open a covert cyno field ?

This seems to imply that you can't bridge to normal cyno's:

Judging just by the text on all the pieces involved...
It looks like the Black Ops can jump itself to any sort of a Cyno out there.
But it can only fit the Covert Jump Portal Generator, which is only attuned to a Covert Cyno, and can only bridge for Covert craft.
If a Black Ops could support a standard Jump Portal Generator, then that would work for anything going anywhere. |

So the blackops portal buzz is limited only to blackops and "cynosural field theory 5" alts

pretty sure you can bridge to a normal cyno, but you cannot bridge to a cyno array on a POS. Haven't tried bridging to a normal cyno in a while, it used to not work but another poster confirmed that it does work now, so take that with a grain of salt.
