I noticed that when the "New Environments" was updated recently on the Shiva feature page, there was no longer any mention of these. Does this mean that they are officially scrapped for Shiva? If so, that would be a shame, especially considering the new mining barges coming out. The current asteroid belts seem too small to me for these new ships, but then again, there will be those ice fields and comets!
I would LOVE to see these supermassive asteroid fields in the game at some point, even if they are not in the initial release of Shiva. Please tell me they haven't been scrapped altogether!
Thanks,
WD

they realised that 3 hours after shiva is implemented, 50,000 paying customers would be stuck to an asteroid? |

Aye - I was also looking forward to the many new environments promised. Even if they are not in Shiva, I just hope they havn't been axed for good.
Well we will find out in about a week - public beta is supposed to be October 5th
