What is ccp thinking? Why would you want 10 options to open to drag items to your hanger? Is this to help all the morons who don't know how to sort stuff with containers and dump everything into the general hanger??????? Hey how bout they add something that IS actually useful like a way to search all containers and ship cargo for items you have lost track of. Like maybe that mission objective you left somewhere such as a person who has 200 containers and 20 industials and cant remember where their courier package is? or maybe a search function on assets for items in corp hangers? How bout ccp add something that doesn't lag the hell out of our computers. CCP im sure this is a bigggg time shocker for you but not all your customers have the latest fastest computers. I for one am not buying a whole new computer just to run eve to handle extra features I don't even like! That takes a level of eve addiction I am very far from attaining. |

What u might be confused about is what u are referring to as smoke, is FROZEN matter. And in any case there would not be long trails of it like u see from rl smoke in the atmosphere of a planet. It's rly not that hard, but it's expected from the lack of intelligence from ppl using this game. Is ignorance rly bliss?
Of course there will be smoke in space. The visible part of smoke is solid particles, which by your own definition is frozen. Why on earth would particles and matter in general just dissapear in space? Just because vacuum causes a lack of sound doesn't mean other things dissapear aswell.
Smoke coming out of engines would be travelling in different directions at a very high velocity. There is no air to slow its movement. The particles would be so small and moving so fast in different directions, I doubt very much you could see them in space. I do think it looks kinda cool though so why not? It's not so different from the super slow motions explosions from missiles that totally fry my retina every time I watch missile hit my ship. I need to start wearing eye protection. Normally I zoom way way out and just fight by the overview cause the explosions are so annoying to my eyes. |

OMG the new UI has annoyed me so much, I'm actually talking in the forums. How can this be more fun than playing. I think I need a break from EVE if I have come to this low point. |

Phaedra Stargazer wrote:I agree that it's more of a hassle now than it was before. When I dock again I don't want to click 10 times to find what I'm looking for. With shift click you can rearrange all the windows just as they were but like Babs said: It's not permanent!
Also there's too much text bars around the window, the bars are too wide and that's just annoying when you just want to see what's inside of it.
I like the feature with the estimated price though. No matter if it's entirely correct or not I finally have an indication of what my inventory is worth :P (on the other hand it's 2 lines too many on the bottom of the window :S)
Let's hope they do some iteration on this soon, it could use some improvement.

Edit: I'd like to see my active ship back in the hangar as well! Edit #2: I don't like my cargo inventory to pop up every time I undock or jump!
Please no! Get rid of it! The last thing I want to waste my limited CPU power on is calculate a completely arbitrary misleading value for a bunch of junk in my cargo. This may be useful to complete noobs but any experienced player should know what stuff is roughly worth just from looking at it. I can give you a much better estimate of what my loot sells for in about 2 secs of looking at my cargo. And anything so rare i dont know what its worth.... I'm going to price check the market anyway not rely on some randomly generated isk value found by looking at market orders which are mostly random anyway. market orders or determined 99% by current competition and 1% by the items real value. ie.. if there are no buyers for an item worth 150m there will always be someone who offers 5k for it. Is 5k really the price of that item. Trust me I know. I have about 200 orders for items nobody wants and I offer 1/100th their real value. If I am outbid... I will raise it till I make less than 10% profit. |

The vacuum would dissapate it quickly, true. But I still believe it should be visible. On a sidenote... Danm this UI is ass.
ROTFLMAO true dat! I gotta start proof reading my comments. When I go back and read what I hammered out on the keyboard,,, It looks like I'm totally uneducated.
