Willing to make it a solo fit with cov ops sub system and an interdiction nullifier system to avoid gate camps. With all setups I get a lack of decent dps or a lack of drone bay. The only thing that stops the recon /interdiction nulifier fit is a 100 man gank lag blob. But taking the recon aproach seems to kill dps figures, tank seems to be medium fine. Anyone have good pointers of making effective 0.0 solo roam killer setups?

Now look at how long you can overheat a rack of weapons. Check out the number of low slots available for damage mods. T3 Recons are still way more dangerous than a regular Recon, if fit properly of course. Personally, I am not all that interested in the Interdiction Nullifier. It gimps agility, speed and low slots too much. Yeah, I know it has a bonus to agility, but even at level V Propulsion Subsys skill, your agility is still much poorer than with the Chassis Optimization subsystem. It's even poorer (as measured by align time) than a 1600mm plated Pilgrim. That's a pretty big gimp! *-- The Theorem Theorem: If If, Then Then* --**

As for inty - even best inty pilot with most expensive fit will not manage to decloak+point cloaker/interdiction nullifier t3 before it warps. Game is too lagged (and i mean 0,5 second reaction times here) + game mechanics are too screwed up for it to be possible.

Legion = 6 seconds to warp with Interdiction Nullifier and subsystem skill lvl 4 So you jump through a gate and land in a Large Tech 2 Bubble with 50 Interceptors swirling around the gate. You initiate warp and hit the cloak, as the Interceptors recognize your position and start their engines and run towards your position. ...2 seconds ...3 seconds ... decloaked Now with the given mechanics, you're not instantly targetable but it takes some two seconds, before you can aquire a lock.... you warp out at this point allready. --- But back to topic. It's not possible to get a good gank-setup with Covert and Interdiction Nullifier, your DPS will allways be that of a Tech 1 Frigate in this case. Grab a Pilgrim and make sure that there's no reinforcements within 3 minutes range.

If you config it right, you can get the covert reconfig, almost as much base armor as a domi, resists of an eos, 7 low slots for tank/damage mods, 4 mids, and 6 highs, plus 100m3 of drones with 25mb, and keeping the maneuverability of a cruiser with stronger scan res than a recon. I thought of using the interdiction nullifier for traveling through bubble camps. But generally Id use other propulsion subsystems. Ive never had a problem getting through bubble camps in a plain old arazu (run dozens of them, most arent hard to avoid if you use your brain and dont panic), and with the config described above youve basically turned the proteus into an uber Arazu with the one thing the arazu always lacked, which is enough firepower to solo stuff on its own before more bad guys arrive.
