Now, it doesn't exactly take a stretch of imagination to add 'serious internet spaceships' and a bit of emorage into the mix, and we have death threats delivered by a phone call. The inability of the goons to seperate real life actions from an online spaceship game, is pretty disturbing. It is not funny when you cross that line, it is downright tragic.

If you're refering to people logging into a server and damaging or removing material having stolen someone elses password then I fully agree with you but when someone is GIVEN permission for their character to log into a forum then that is completely legal. Remember, unless you hack (which is illegal) you can only do what you have permission to do. Hehe, we've got another lawyer, it seems Ok, let me put it this way - I've used social engineering to break into systems, I modified files on those systems, and installed tools that sniffed traffic and picked up passwords and other similar stuff. Do you think it was illegal?

Edit: Before this sparks more "hurrr goonhax" posts, the 'vulnerabilities' were that you didn't need a login to post killmails. That's it. We actually did them a favour by highlighting their lack of basic common sense v0v. If we had half a mind to, we could've done a lot worse than changing the background on their killboard.
