Quick question about heat here, according to EFT heat spreads across slot types (High/mids/lows).
Is this true or is it an oversight in EFT?
It's rather important because if it's true then I can only overload my guns for 1min 45sec before something breaks whereas if it's wrong I can overload them for at least 4min 44seconds, considering that my ship has THREE bonuses to overloading I REALLY hope that EFT is wrong.

The heat remains within their respective slot-types.
If you overheat your high-slots, only the modules in the highs get damaged. It would not affect the other slots or influence the overheating of those.

when it comes to overheating guns I'm disappointed... with my skills (have them all to lvl 3) I get to overload my rack of guns/missiles about 10 seconds before the heat gets too much, risking to burn the guns..
mids and lows however seem much more resilient

That's not true. I have had lows take damage from excessively heated mids. Heat is more likely to stay with that rack, but can and does spread, unless something has changed.

That¦s from my own experience. I heated guns, heated reppers, webbers, MWD¦s till offline and never saw heat spread away from the rack. What I saw was that within the slot-type the distribution of damage can be quite random at times, but that¦s it. Maybe there is a very small chance this happens, but never happened to me.
