Weird that ex-Duty would bring this **** to a merc thread given it's the last thing they'd have wanted someone to bring to their thread. Personally I'd just let the killboard and client referrals speak for themselves rather than having to trash up a thread with absolute crap posting.

We never mislead any of our clients on our progress in any given war. The only bad things falling into our threads was the fact that someone from the corp dishonored a 1 v 1 fight, and was dealt with swiftly and justly.
As for the KB speaking for itself, I rather have the maills exchanged between the guy who hired them to dec us in the first place be the real point here. Lying to a client, imo, is about as bad as not posting losses on your KB to make your stats looked more pumped up than a USDA grade cow.
The merc market doesnt need people who are borderline scamming their clients by lying directly to their faces about doing a job that isk was paid for and running missions instead.

I think there's a difference between pointless smack about current contracts - something that we, as Duty., received time after time from random alt posting - and something that hits home like this. Lying to a contractor is never good :-p

Don't know if you have read my corp description but this isn't duty corp, that corp is now closed.
Why I first posted in this thread that DSF sucks is their approach to pvp and mercing, they simply refuse to adapt and change tactics. if RR BS @ target HQ doesn't work one time they were simply out of options. As far as mercing, not even duty with it's repute, taking contracts for several hundred millions could make any money out of mercing.
I will not show respect for a "merc" corp that isn't even trying to fight what they consider a superior target. 1. Lying to contractor 2. Not even trying to adapt and fight 3. Not posting losses
I've also lost ships in hard contracts but the one thing that difference us is I adapt, change my style and never give up. Simply fight them until the contract is full filled and of course, NEVER lying to my clients.
Just because you spec pew pew, doesn't mean you can dps.

well first hours start of the wars was really nice. they came in to HQ and camp us for a bit. but we killed them in ashab with our fleet. anyhow respect for taking in a BS fleet to our home station. i'm not here to smack. but i wanted to point out that their CEO said it was luck that we killed them. pfff luck has nothing to do with it. we were ready and tagged to get in to pew pew. i was Fc'ing that night. and we totaly smack them in the face. killed 5 BS lost 1 cruiser. but stats doesn't matter that much. but whats make me consern is that. they took the contract and after losing cupple ships they didnt want to fight anymore. and where going to ask the client for more isk? wtf pvp isn't cheap but u cant just give up. and blame it on client for bad intel. it's not the clients job to give u intel. its up to u to find it. yes we where more then them in fleet. but we use all people in corp if they want to join. we cant just tell them not to come and and fight cuz it's not fair number. these guys need to learn. so good luck with next contract! ps: fighting isn't always about the ships. it's the fighting spirits that counts!

I hope you guys get more contracts and learn from mistakes made. We threw alot at you and you didn't smack back. No need to mention anything we thought was bad. I wish you well and hope we get to fight you later.

I don't really care what gh3y says, but the client outright lied to me and that is the point. Maybe they're really good at pvp and were outnumbered, but I was told they were holding down gh3y and they infact weren't. That is straight from the client the whole story. I can provide full mail exchange and other convo logs to prove it.

its funny how happy spacemen joined alliance we had wd on. either they were mistreated as children and now want some attention or they intentionally want to mess with us. i know one of them mentioned something along, we gonna be joining everyone who you war deck. either way, customer got isk back from contract so that is end of that. furthermore, politics in empire is getting sickening and am not going to be put in position to be reviewed by misguided and bored 10 year old. we are moving back to 0.0. mercenary was a project, and we have no personal attachment to it. oh, whatever you write after this am not gonna bother reading so be kind to those who venture in here by curiosity or accident. o/

I think you should know that Ascendancy United are old friends of Duty. (a.k.a Happy Spacemen.) It's just unfortunate that you decced GH3Y's pet carebears :333333

I dont care about ****ing effort. Results is all that matters. From the look of their "contract" against Requiems lot, they failed so damn badly, improved enemy morale, and generally left most of see and pee laughing at their sorry excuse for a corp.

Yes, very poor choice of target there. Tbh, I expect they were thinking you picked Ascendancy deliberately to get back at them in some way. Funny stuff :D

To set the record straight we join AX because they have been our friends for the last year since when we were duty. like someone else said - it was nothing personal and we would have done the same thing if it had been another corp.
Im gonna apologise on behalf of some of the smack in this thread - 2 years of no smack rules and we all kinda went mad when this was dropped. Needless to say our boys were just really looking forward to fight a merc corp of equal size as we thought we my finally get some really good fights - we did on the first day and although most of that was down to luck and timing we were hoping for more. When the dec was pulled we were really dissapointed and some of the guys went crazy.
I personally sincerely wish you all the best in the future and just wish we could have had a weeks worth of exciting war for a change -------------------------
