Faction Warfare is total bullshit. It is clear that it is nothing more than baiting players into lowsec with inferior ships.
For one, why the hell is a WOLF not considered a frigate? The warpgate denied me access when it clearly stated that FRIGATES were allowed. The Help Channel claimed that it's not a frigate and it was an assault ship? REally? Last I checked it was a T2 Frigate. This forces players into weakass T1 trash.
Because of being forced into T1 crap, you are easy, undergeared chum for the pirates who roam lowsec.
If you are going to limit warpgates to SIZE of ships (which itself is just a stupid idea that will keep players away from FW because who the hell is going to fly 5-10 jumps every 5 minutes to refit a ship? I'm not.) then at least allow the T2 variant through the gate.
Second, who the hell is going to go in and out of lowsec constantly in T1 crap knowing full well that there is a good chance that there are pirate faction, T2 fit ships of the largest order on the other side of that gate?? I won't.
This already needs to be addressed. I'm sick of CCP forcing players into being food for pirates and pvpers. If I can fly a ship that fits my skills so be it, but to be forced into a low-end pile of ****, that is just ridiculous. |

Probably because the WOLF is an assault ship, like the JAGUAR or ISHKUR, not like the TEMPLAR, a fighter used by AMARR CARRIERS

Okay... two things...
1. I may strongly dislike "instancing"... but class-limited plexes do serve their purpose: it brings vets down the the level of younger players who may be limited to only to T1 ships.
2. If you are at all serious about Faction Warfare, you keep you ships in low-sec in an easy to access station (which is going to be quite difficult now thanks to the station lockout mechanisms  ).

Good news... you won't be seeing any T2 ships on the other side of that acceleration gate... because no T2 ship can go through. If you are limited to T1 ships... so are your enemies.
Also... getting into "occupied" plexes is a bit of a "fine art" (ex. bum rush with what you have, go in with lots of ewar, and/or lots of numbers).

Pro-tip: T1 ships are not "low-end trash." In fact... my rather large assortment of Catalysts, Thrashers, and Vexors are offended by that statement.
T2 ships only offer a specialty and "edge" over T1 ships (like, a 20% edge at most). That's it. It is perfectly within the realm of possibility for a Rifter to kill an Enyo, or a gank-fit Coercer to kill an Ishkur... it's even possible for a Vigil to kill a Thrasher (that one was embarrassing).
Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

after reading everything your complaining about. where does it say in Faction warfare that ccp is forceing you into low space to get ganked? not to mention looseing a t1 ship isnt that big of a loss. unless you fit complex or faction items on your t1 frigs o.o
its game mechanics. wouldt matter if your in a wolf or a t1 frig difference being the price of each ship and their fits. |

As a pilot for the Tribal Liberation Force I feel the need to call your bullshit into question. You need to understand the differences between Minor, Major, etc. Compounds, Installations and so forth. Minor Installations do not allow for anything but T1 Frigates, Destroyers and Industrials. You are more than welcome to enter any other installation with a Wolf.
That said; your ship choice is interesting - most pilots I know will choose differently to you - depending on what they are doing. Thus far my excursions in a Rifter have been my most successful. You do however need to fly in fleets, use your starmap and .. oh sod it. You need to learn how to survive in Factional Warfare.
