Sex Drugs And Black Wholes....A Glimpse of life in UF-KKH from a nubs perspective.
The space wenches in UF-KKH are Better then any I have seen in any highsec station.....and the beer is mostly export, get this there arent any police about either so its a 24 4 hr paaaarrrttyyy.
This will be my second week in UF-KKH and my second week in 0.0. As a new player I have been lucky enough to stumble upon a group of people who embrace fresh players and are willing to help them setup for life in 0.0.
Questions I had before I came down here were What use will I be to a corp/alliance? and what exactly will i be able to do once im down there.
Well I soon found out that pilots no matter how new are a very sort after commodity in 0.0 the more eyes you have down here the better... there is allways something going on either defending the system or being part of a ratting team your never stuck for something to do....not only that the people down here are very friendly and there is no sense of nub calling and not once have i been made to feel inadiquit for being new. Those of you that are used to the guild life in other games such as WOW this is the closest thing I have experienced so far in eve.
Ok i realise I do sound a bit like a kiss ass at the moment....
0.0 or more specificaly UF-KKH has given me the sense of being part of a team that i allways look for in games.
People down here are working together and want to make this region a better place for everyone not just new players but all comers if you like being part of a team in a laid back enviroment that has the added freedom of being able to engage in pvp and make isk through mining or ratting then look no further......
Im happy i came down here and im very humbled by the kindness of the locals.
Speaking from a new perspective I have no interest in the ongoing argument
that has dominated this thread I just wish to give a fresh perspective on what life is like in uf for a new player....please be gentile its my first time.....

I think we all need to take a step back and cut arron some slack here all this smacktalking is getting over the top i mean lets boil it down and look at whats really going on.
Arron has an idea and is trying to impliment a comunity enviroment in 0.0 and the odds are very stacked against his idea as alot of people have not failed to mention. Before I came down this Hub idea began to work and by the looks of things it didn't go to plan tempers were frayed and lots of people ended up falling out, ships were lost on all sides and friendships were broken. Reading this thread hilights how much of a shame all this is because by the looks of thing it was very very close to being a fully successfull venture.
Its easy for me to say but surely the more adult of u whom were involved can surely begin to move on and cut arron some slack.
I have spent many hours talking with the people whom are in uf-kkh now and i can say hand on heart all of them especialy Arron purely want to help others and enjoy working in a comunity that shares a common goal.
Yes I may be new to eve but I am not new to online games and the reason I enjoy them so much is being part of a comunity and working with others.....
Arron has been trying to set up an area of space where people can come and take a load off from the harshness of 0.0 lots of people who play the game must be able to see how this could benefit eve as a whole, this game can be a very lonely enviroment unless u are lucky enough to be affiliated with a large corp/alliance u must first be deemed usefull and have the right skills the corp/alliance is looking for. How do u even begin to set foot in 0.0 if your on your own? if ur new to the game like me or you are just looking for a safe place to trade,rat plex or just converse with adult like minded people Uf-kkh is a very good place to atleast have a look at.

United in a common enemy......
Some of the things I have been Reading lately sugesst there is an uneasy calm before the storm situation brewing. strange bedfellows are pairing up all over new Eden, the balance of power has shifted and things all over are becoming unstable most of provi and catch have been left burning...
Where next?.....
I think stain could become a very bussy place over the next few months and our little pipe into the area could perhaps be a very interesting area to be in.
Watch this space because who knows who is watching yours...

Cult??? Yawwwn I mean really non of us down here are anything like cultists after we have had our morning cermon led by aaron we are free to rat and run missions. and at about 12pm we have the afternoon group NRDS chants finished off by wiring 20% of our daily real life income to aarons account.... whats so cultish about that my god we dont even have any ritual orgies!? Ok so the odd mass suicide happens when we decide to go on a roam but nothing cultish.
I love replying to the fruity comments it really brightens up my day.

To be fair Dalv the whole way you speak to people is offensive you have a very Supierior attitude and most of the time you are very obnoxious and talk down to people who are new to the game or not as well clued up as you are,
I respect you for being a very good player and one hell of a capable pvper something I do strive to achive my self one day although I am a long way off I know that before u jump on my post.
Its a shame what happened to be honest I do think you would make a valuable asset to any corp/alliance but cut the smacktalk all the time... I know it must amuse you but people dont want to be told ''Cant you effing read'' when they just jumped through a bubbled gate. You only actualy said that evening was 6 reds in Uf-kkh anyhow not dont jump through there is a gate camp witch tbh wouldn't have been missed.... We unlike yourself are learning 0.0 and as much as it must pleasure you to see people making mistakes and then showing them the error of there ways through you own unique blend of degridation it was never really asked for or welcomed....
Fact is you missed the point of the Hub and all the pvp skills in the world wont help you if u dont know how to live and be curtious with others.... respect is a two way street.

Ok so we've had slot of drama going on over the past week or so. Id like to try and get the forum ticking over into the positive status again and talk about some ideas we have been talking about on eve voice. First off we still would welcome all comers into our little collective of systems in stain anyone no matter how little you think you have to offer us down here will be surprised how far a positive attitude will carry you....
Secondly Id like to specificly ask any mining corps who perhaps are lookng for a new begining in nulsec to come down and have a look. We can offer you security we can help provide logistics and also we can provide probing services so that you can mine high end mnerals. Oh yea on top of that we would also be your biggest customers as we grow so to will the oppertunities we can offer you.
Finaly Id like to reiterate how much fun it is down here there really is a good buzz among the troops all of us are having a laugh on voice and all of us pitch in when duty calls recently we have begun to make the few systems we inhabit alot more stable to fly in and all we have is the odd roam passing through or the odd cloaky afk camping which to be honest isn't that scary when they do try and engage enough of us usualy are on hand to assist.

It sounds fun, but damn that would be a long (and probably very deadly) trip all the way to Stain. If someone were interested enough to consider the move to that part of the universe from highsec, would it be best to just sell off all worldly goods (except a fast ship) and just kind of start over?
I came down here with 6million sp im only just getting to around 9 million and im gallente m8 best way to get down here is haul whatever mods you need to paye and cantract em to aaron for hauling (its 100% safe). Then setup a jumpclone in whatever system you run your highsec stuff out of and pod yourself down. there are most t1 ships available for you down here I imagine you fly a myrmadon like me which is a good ratting ship for the area we can get you sorted out with one of them for ratting etc and there are loads of other gallente ships we can sort out for you on the way. If you need any help with what fits would be good for your ships to start off in down here give me a shout and ill help you out m8...... hope to see you down here soon

I log on this forum every day hoping to see friendly new faces posting hi I like the idea can I come and say hello....bt all I see is Green Trolls all crowding under the same bridge trying to sunder what could make alot of people happy and even enrich a game for some who perhaps are bored and unsure how to continue.
The probelm we have is we reply to you thus encouraging your trollish tendancies.
So id like to throw a white dove of peace in the air and say we are all just people playing internet spaceships some people like to blow other people up some people like to mine some people like to write on forums....
I can see how Local spike have gained members due to the ammount of rubish that is replyed to or written here and unfortunetly it looks sometimes as if we are a place of chaos.
There are Good people in uf-kkh and Aaron is one of them many will try to dicredit him but in all hes just a guy who wants to help people into 0.0 and be part of something good. He could have just focused on making himself rich and fed his market and brought people into uf-kkh who would inevitably die all the time and thus increace his isk by restocking from his market (and whats really wrong with that?. He has gone a different route and is trying to teach people how to survive and live in hostile territory.
Aaron has made mistakes and has unfortunatley made alot of enemies his main problem is replying to the people who flame him on here regularly that is turning people away from the thread and offputting people from coming down to have a look.
This is aimed to people who read the forum and have not yet posted or who are unsure about coming down because of all the smack talk.....Hub 0 is a great place to learn how to live in 0.0 and we will help anyone who comes down and is genuine about wanting to live down here there are good people here and we all are friendly and are looking forward to flying with you.
HUB ZERO WANTS YOU
If you can learn to survive in the hostile hotbed that is uf-kkh then you will be able to survive anywhere in eve there really is no better way because it makes you become ''swiched on''
