Keep it up!

AWESOME!!! AvonBlog was great.
1. Can you move the head? Seems kinda unatural that the head is fixed.
2. Would it be possible to stream a real human voice with the text instead of computerese?
This is exactly what I was thinking about!!!

Moving the head would involve a lot of manual editing of the graphics, I'm not sure if I am up to it.
As for human voices, absolutely, it works great. The only real problem is filesize, but I can stream them on the flash version (coming, er, eventually) so that might not be an issue.
The Guest section can either have a computer generated voice or an audio stream, but I'll keep the other sections text-to-speech only for now. ______________________________________________
Never argue with idiots. They will just drag it down to their level, and then beat you through experience. |

Could you have multiple portraits that change the position of the head, body and then restart talking?
If you could move the head and body between paragraphs (a different portait is loaded), then continue talking it would be more natural since people generally change positions and make macro body movements between ideas or, in your case, between paragraphs.

The Veepers technology used on the bud-lite site is really superb. I wish I could use that, but at $50,000 it is a touch out of my league!

The software is 'CrazyTalk Web Edition' from a company called Reallusion
The software costs about $70, but it seems worth it. I've had a lot of fun with it so far. There is a free trial too.
