For me with Exhumers 4, T2 crystals, and 3% mining implant and my alt with industrial command ship 4, warfare link spec 4, and mining director 4 it would take me 24 hours to mine that much plag. Thats assuming I never missed a cycle and used a survey scanner to stop and restart when a roid ran out.
Then comes the problem of where are you going to find that much plag???
With a large mining op, probably talking a hundred or so pilots spanning a region or two, and operating 23/7, it might be possible to affect the supply. For the average mining corps and even solo miners there is no way they can affect it on a massive scale.
Shert answer, thank CCP for banning the macro miner/mission runner accounts so that the real miners can make some ISKes.

For folks with millions of units of non-trit minerals sitting in their hangars for the last year, it's about half an hour's work to get the minerals to market.

Mission spaces! If my memory serves me correctly there is plenty of plagioclase in the L2 version of "Unauthorised Military Presence". Heaps of it in class 1/2 w-space grav sites too.

I think some of the level III missions also have it, but honestly I havent looked in ages

I thought CCp seeded more veld, cause on my trips prospecting some belts that were always striped to the bone a few months ago now have huge low sec type velds It was not just one system, mostly inner empire. so just i just figed they fixed the veld problem by putting out more veld.....VOODOO maybe just just how it seemed to me.

Or here's a thought: Everybody is hunting for plag now and leaving the velds alone. I know I rarely touched plag when trit was over 3.5 and mex was at 25 max.

Mission loot seeds half of the entire mex market.
You would have to be blind not to recognize the drop in volume in loot and the subsequent spike in mex. |

I know, was just reacting to the guy who noticed the large veld roids. They are ofcourse that large cause all the miners aim for plag now.
