I had practice fight with 2 other pilots in rapier, both alot older then me 30-50mil sp and i'm at only 10. I used a arbi and one of them was within scram range and he went down so fast i almost didn't have time to call back my drones the other one i couldn't catch with my scram so that fight was even, no winner since i could get away with help of ecm drones. But i didnt fight both at the same time ^^ To OP i beaten rigged rupture very easy in my arbi so a pilgrim should be able to do it :) use TD and kill his drones and stay like 10km away from him, if he get too close it's game over but if you can keep him at range he can't do anything other then send you hate mails :D

The pilgrim is the best of them in that capacity IMHO. A pilgrim will beat a rupture with very little difficulty as it will out tank and out damage it if you fit it decently. That is after using the EW bonuses of course, but that goes without saying since it is an EW ship. Since it seems it must be spelled out, use the tracking disruptor to kill his guns. Best option here is a range script and hang out at around 10km though it will be tricky to actually hold there. He will have no speed since you should have both a web and a scram on him and he won't have cap anyways thanks to 3 medium neuts. You should have comparable buffer to him as well as a rep and higher resistances so tanking him shouldn't be a problem, especially since his turrets will be hitting you for only 25% or so of their max theoretical damage (gotta love the TD). As a last concern, you should of course decloak within 10km, closer the better as he may have a mwd and that can pose problems for ships with only a 10km point. I like to decloak with a nice little ship bump to minimize their chances of escape. In the event that the rupture is using arty, laugh at him and orbit at point blank range with a speed script in the TD. Either way, it's an easy kill. For those who have lost recons to a lone t1 cruiser, you screwed up badly. Everyone makes mistakes but you shouldn't generalize that t2 cruisers can be beaten by t1's easily. It only happens when the t2 pilot makes a series of major errors. -----------------------------------------------------
