It's amazing that the Caldari State can have the gall to demand an apology from the Curse Alliance for the actions of a single pilot in today's Collossus Qualifier when they themselves have yet to issue an official apology to the very corporation which they accuse of disrupting their precious tournament.
During the CBD Qualifier 2 the Caldari State directed my ship to a destination point which took me DIRECTLY THROUGH an interspatial anomaly. This resulted in a full sensor shutdown for three minutes at a point where I was leading the race. The outcome was that by the time my Stiletto had reset its systems I was so far behind the rest of the racers I should have turned my shp around and headed back to base immediately.
No comment was forthcoming from the Caldari State. No recompense was offered for the fuel expenditure during the qualifier or the costly refittings required beforehand to ensure a race-specced ship. It was, in short, a farce.
In the spirit of community Curse Alliance have fielded many pilots to previous Colossus qualifiers. They have raced with the best pilots the rest of the gallaxy can field. They have consistently won their qualifiers. If the Caldari State wish to make an example of Curse Alliance pilots as a result of this incident initiated by a single pilot then they may as well write off their precious race immediately as they will have removed the best racers before their event even starts. The race was already suspect as detailed above. Such an action would make it a travesty.

On the principle that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" I wonder if the next news release will be about the Gallentes opening up cordial diplomatic relations with CA?
