Much like Chribba's lottery - you get the chance to win a mothership for as little as 10 million isk!
This lottery is on behalf of a third party.
How will the lottery be drawn?
The lottery will be drawn via Randomizer program. I will announce on my thread the winner is being drawn, I will film myself making this post so you can see it has not been previously fabricated via camtasia studio. I will then visit the randomizer webpage enter all the correct fields (you will be able to download the video of me doing this) and randomize a number. As soon as the video is uploaded the winner will be announced and arrangements made for collection.

For information on who I am you can visit my thread and see past trades and references from parties involved.
What happens if i win and cant fly the ship?
I can either hold onto the object for you while you train for it (short term) or we can do an auction for the MS with low starting bid and reserve and you keep whatever it sells for.
INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO TAKE PART - READ CAREFULLY!!!!!!!
Money is to be sent to Darknesss as shown below - REMEMBER MY NAME HAS THREE S's NOT TWO
For one ticket you send 10,000,000 isk with reason LOTTERY01
For two tickets you send 20,000,000 isk with reason LOTTERY01
For three tickets you send 30,000,000 isk with reason LOTTERY01
ANY MONEY SENT NOT INCLUDING THIS REASON WILL BE TAKEN AS A DONATION.
Any isk sent will be rounded down - so for one ticket you must send the full 10m. If 19m is sent that will only purchase you one ticket.

It isnt about being smart and original in a way of collecting tickets. It is simply too much work to do it by watching your wallet and taking names in a lottery with this many tickets, so API must be used.
However my method of drawing a winner if you read the thread is completley different because I know I do not have the same trust Chribba does.
If you have a better suggestion to keep track of tickets sold, I would love to hear it :)

Yeah thats one downside to the webpage atm, ill try and get that worked on ASAP. For the most part everything seems to be running smoothly but until the actual lottery started we were going to need to make a few little adjustments here and there.

Yeah, now aware of the issue, please EVERYONE who has bought a ticket double check on the website to make sure its showing.
In the mean time we are trying to locate the problem which for some reason seems to only affect a very small minority - but regardless I can view every transaction in my Journal and your isk will not be lost!
I'll update thread when we have located/fixed the problem, and if anyone wants a full refund due to tickets not showing you are more than welcome to it, but with patience im sure we will correct the issue.

After speaking with my webpage designer he has told me that all tickets queried typed in the reason bar "lottery01" rather than "LOTTERY01" in uppercase. Without it being typed in capital letters the website will not allocate you a ticket.
The parties who have made me aware they do not have a ticket have had a full refund and have been given instructions should they wish to still take part in the lottery.
It is vital people read the opening post word for word before forwarding isk, or your ticket may not become registered!
PLEASE EVERYONE CHECK YOUR NAME AT MY WEBSITE AND CONFIRM YOU HAVE THE TICKETS YOU HAVE PAID FOR, IF YOU DONT CONTACT ME AND I WILL REFUND YOU SO YOU CAN PURCHASE TICKETS CORRECTLY!

Actually people saying they have bought tickets does two things, one it keeps the thread alive and in public view, not on page 20 where no one reads and secondly gives others confidence to buy tickets also.
Tickets are sold faster when the thread is on front page of sell orders than on other pages, the only information really necessary to read is the OP.
With regards to how long until the lottery gets drawn, it depends completely upon when the tickets sell.

I have refunded your isk, you typed the reason in lowercase - its very important you type the reason in game in capital letters or the API will not pick it up.

Yeah i'm hoping so. I've certainly done alot of work for this lottery but its well worth it i think.
I'm hoping once people see my method of drawing a winner and that it went off without issues they'll sell faster. I do have an in game channel and mailing list - "Dark Market Mailing" which will have details of future lotteries.

Well technically it doesnt change the odds at all. Since its just one winning ticket, its just human nature that makes us want them spread out.
However i'll chat with my web designer to make it random for the next lotteries if thats what people prefer.

Well, the chances do not change, indeed.....but those randomizers will be unlikely to get a real low number or a real high number. At least that's my experience. I know I was in the 300s but still :)
