I was in Uitra (starter system in Caldari space). Apparently someone flipped another's can. The victim told the flipper in local that this was forbidden in tutorial systems, and that a petition was filed. The flipper apologized and gave back the ore, or at least said he would.
Is there such a rule, or is this just a new strategy miners are using to prevent their ore from being stolen? If there is such a rule, where would it be found?
I'm not here to debate the merits of can flipping or filing petitions, I would just like some clarification. Thanks. |

My understanding is that CCP doesn't take kindly to this activity. Something about shooting fish in a small barrel.
Can flipping in a random asteriod belt = ok. Griefing new players that are minutes old = bad.

Anyone flipping 1 day old noobs in starter systems literally has no spine at all anyway. Flip them when they're flying something that's worth more than the ammo it takes to kill them.

Unsure about flipping, but can baiting is definitely not allowed in starter systems.

can baiting is only forbidden in noob systems, but in Cal space the starter systems are Amsen, Kisogo, and Todaki.... not sure I've heard of Uitra

If I'm remembering right, Uitra is the system that contains that first 10-part mission that gives you rewards to fit out an entry level frigate. |
