Issue: Drones become target of rats when you get disconnected.
Details: Sometimes I get disconnected from the eve server (not from the rest of internet) which removes my ship from space, but leaves my drones in place. On some missions drones have 0% chance of survival against NPC rats because by the time I can reconnect, my battleship might have to travel 20-30km to reach the first pocket. Drones are destroyed by the time I can get back in.
Possible solutions:
-Have the drones be returned to drone bay if the player gets disconnected
-Have the NPC rats leave the drones alone if the player gets disconnected

i would also like to see a "lost drone recovery" button/option.
like the scan probes
could help with the d/c

That reconnect system was introduced with the new scanning system and the probes. Let us hope they extend that system indeed to the drones. But then again drones need to be in the same grid to control, probes don't.
The auto-scoop befor eyou warp off I would like to see. Nothing worse then to see a batch of T2 sentry drones pop cause I got a dc.

Good point. What is the purpose of leaving your drones in the first place if you cant control them. You might as well recover them before warp off so why not make it automatic? That or just on disconnect. I agree something needs to be done about that problem.

I've lost loads of tech 2 drones from random dc's. The most annoying is when you have 20km to cover in your BS and just watching them pop one after the other while you "race" to pick them up. Losing drones in some missions can potentially lose your ship as well.

And they will have to warp away with the player from the SS as well when he reconnects, otherwise the effect is still the same, only with a 100% loss as you can't expect everyone to have a probelauncher with them or even be trained for one to use.
